On my side I'm going to spend this month of July into the following many festivals in Montréal

26 de junio hasta 6 de julio-  Festival internacional de Jazz
27 de junio hasta 20 de julio- Festival de reir
5 de julio- Caribbean carifiesta 2008 (Desfile / parade de musica tropical)
6 de julio - Fêtes Créoles -  Festival /Degustacion de comida de muchas paises tropical.
12 de julio- Fiesta de Independencia de Colombia
11 hasta el 13 de julio- Festival de musica haitianna de Montréal
8 hasta el 20 de julio -Festival internacional noche de Africa
11 hasta el 13 julio- Festival internacional de musica Reggae
19 y 20 de julio- Festival de Merengue


plus visiting the city of Sherbrooke (eastern Québec) and also the city of Gatineau (Québec) which next to Ottawa.
before going to T.O. for Caribana on August 1.

How about U ?
