La comunidad de la parroquia de San Lorenzo anunció:
RADIOTON EN SOLIDARIDAD CON LAS VICTIMAS DEL MAREMOTO EN ASIA


La comunidad hispanoamericana debe sentirse orgullosa de lo que va a realizar este fin de semana. No solamente el evento en Orale el sábado sino una Radiotón sábado y domingo en la nueva radio 1610 AM. Veo que TH apoya activamente las dos iniciativas.


Todos debemos apoyar, ya sea con efectivo, con nuestra participación o simplemente con la difusión de estos eventos.


Es un orgullo que podamos contribuir con alguito como comunidad hispana en Toronto. Quedará como precedente que nuestra comunidad apoyó a otra comunidad que no es de ningún país latinoamericano. Esta actitud va a pagar con creces el día que alguno de nuestros países necesite ayuda de nuestros hermanos canadienses e inmigrantes del mundo entero.


¡Viva la comunidad hispanoamericana de Toronto!

Toronto.- La nueva emisora de radio comunitaria en español de Canadá, CHHA 1610 AM, se une a través de su programación “Voces Latinas” en la recaudación de fondos monetarios para asistir a las víctimas del maremoto ocurrido durante el pasado mes de diciembre 2004 que afectó a varios países en el continente asiático, más de 150,000 personas murieron y millones quedaron en total desamparo.

Cientos de voluntarios de distintas nacionalidades del mundo de habla hispana estarán prestando sus servicios como locutores, coordinadores y promotores gratuitamente para dicha recaudación. Esto se llevará a cabo los próximos días sábado 8 de enero 2005 a partir de las 6:00 am hasta las 2:00 de la mañana del domingo 9, y el día domingo 9 de enero de 6:00 de la mañana a 10 de la noche.

@TH Team.....perhaps a good way to help these guys organize this event would be to put something on your main page for all the Spainish clubs out there.....let them know that we have some great local talent looking for a FREE (this can be their donation) place to hold a concert.  Someone from the community should be willing to do this.....half of the door money can go to the releif efforts or something like that!


@Alex Bello and Don Plyero.....you guys are great for wanting to help......I'll be sure to pick up your CD Alex.....when it comes out......


Another thought......I am sure that TLN along and CITY TV would be willing to help promote this event for free.....Alex City TV (breakfast Television) would even have you perform if you were interested in that which along with helping this effort would also give you some additional exposure

Don Playero like i said before, any promoter out there looking for artist to support there events in regards to this disaster does not even have to ask me cause i am so there, I don't want money, i don't want fame, i don't want prop's i just want to help any way I can.

If you want me at that party just send me the details and that will be enough for me to be there.

But only for these cause, for any other events, sorry i am not available until my cd is finally release in april.

ya i will donate som $$ but i wanna try and raise more by doing una fiesta of any kind reggaeton, or anyother of our music and with the money raised from that party it will be sent to the people in asia right now im planin to do an event but if any1 can help in any way that would be great thanx anyways i hope 2 give more info on thsi party or w/e is planed ablamoz
