Questions Plague Case Of Daughter Held Captive By Her Own Father For 24 Years

It's the one question the entire world is asking: how could a man
keep his daughter and the seven children he allegedly fathered by her
captive for so many years without anyone knowing about it?

There are few answers to that query, as the investigation into an unbelievable case continues in the small town of Amstetten, Austria.
It first came to light April 19th, when a 19-year-old girl was found
unconscious and gravely ill in the building where 73-year-old Josef
Fritzl (top left) lived.

A plea for her mother to come forward
forced the suspect to finally bring his own daughter out of hiding,
telling family members she and her kids had decided to 'return home'
after so many years.

But a phone tip urged authorities to
question his daughter Elisabeth and when she agreed to talk to them
away from her dad, the incredible story began to spill out.
