I am still kinda confussed about this whole thing. All in all though, it shows that at least changes are being made since Fidel left. This gives the cuban a little bit of hope.
Hopefully all inclussive vacation packages to Cuba will stay cheap . That's my only worry ! haha
The tourists will pay for it.... the old white guys that go there for young chicas, will definately spring the extra bucks to take them to their room, rather then out on the beach.
Isn't that call Sex Tourism ?
I don't think the average cuban is able to afford from his wages to take his family for a week to any resort.
What about those touristic places where the average cuban is not allowed to go....such Cayo Largo.
So it's not really so they (cubans) can vacation... it's more so that prostitutes don't have to hide? It will bring more turists, for sure. It does very little for the average Cuban though
Welcome back, BTW

But it is a good change...atleast a tiny step... and I dont quite understand the cellphone deal - for as long as I can remember, my cubans friends have had cells, but this is now news?
LA HABANA - El Gobierno de Raúl Castro levantó la prohibición que impedía a los cubanos alojarse en los hoteles de la isla para turistas, informaron el lunes en la capital de Cuba fuentes hoteleras.
