Finally someone uses the right senses here! I mean, most of you have created and made this forum going as you’ve stated, and the way the crowed has responded is pretty good. I see the clear difference, this foro is clean, and not only that, the site has informed us little by little… and pplz at home is quite satisfied with it.

All I have to say is that the numbers don't lie and that both Foros get about the same number of views. Like I said in my original reply, if we go by the views, the EVENTS foro has more. GENIE u and I are probably the ones that keep this foro going with all our replies. What I'm tying to say is that we seen how the foro has changed in the pass few weeks and if we want to keep it the way it has been going people are just gonna have to follow the RULES. Xavier you have a good point in stating facts that you have noticed but lets be honest here when u first open the page you automatically go to the general foro first no? and then check out the rest!? right?? So it has double the posting because everyone goes on here first and views all here and then the events!! And regardless this is the right place to post simply because its gonna get viewed here first!! But i totally see where th is trying to keep this foro clean and stuff but posting stuff here and there aint hurting no body!!

I don't know what u guys are basing that the (GENERAL) foro gets more hits that the EVENTS one. My calculations tell me that both the GENERAL and EVENTS foro get the same amount of hits basing it on the topics and post info in the main page of the foro
The numbers that i got, are these (at the moment of this reply):
GENERAL: 44 topics 324 posts
EVENTS: 22 topics 169 posts
as u can see we have double the amount of topics in the GENERAL foro and double the amount of post, which tells me that if we had the same amount of topics in the EVENTS foro we would have the same amount of post, well maybe not the same but close enough ;) and if we go by the number of views the EVENTS foro has more that the GENERAL one just look at the Fashion Show Thread it has over 700 views

If you take a minute and look at the homepage of torontohispano.com you will see our paid ad. Also salsaspot.com another paid ad. The fact that you haven’t seen that is the main reason why I write them in here. The general section gets more hits so being a smart promoter I post my stuff here. If you look at tln you will see another paid ad. Sabor Nuevo is so successful because we pay for our advertising. We are the leading promotion company not Mickey Mouse stuff you see around.

We both know that there’s no problem with them advertising here, that’s what the EVENTS foro is for. Just maybe next time they can post in the right place and not anywhere they want. Just like u, I like this foro a lot and I think that keeping it clean will just make it better for us to enjoy . In other words, I agree with the first poster here.
