Borghi's officially gone, Colo-Colo esta cagado :( he left mainly coz he never got any of good players in the off season, those two colombians Castillo and Salazar suck big time! They are not even good enough for the Chilean league, nevermind La Libertadores!
I actually think two good teams that have a chance to take it all are Liga de Ecuador and Cucuta de Colombia, small teams but the big teams have not showed much this year. Sao Paulo tiene un chileno that sucks de delantero y perdio contra un ekipo Boliviano, River barely beat Univ. Catolica; Boca, well we all saw Boca struggling against Colo-Colo that has nothing this year, etc. No big teams playing well, I will be a small team taking it all this year, watch!
Boca 4- Colo-Colo 3.....That was very intense, great game!!
with no Riquelme...FAb Vargas showed his class (The one that he never shows with with the COlombian team)
Palermo is arguably the All-time worst penalty kicker......since the time he missed the 3 penalties in a game I haven't seen him score once...His penalties are an automatic goal kick.
I was also surprised by QQTA beating Chivas -I don't expect (and want) any of the Colombian teams to make it too far this year but I definitely want the Mexicans teams out first of all! La Lib must stay in Sudakaland....So hope Colo-Colo beat Atlas

I actually HATE Palermo I am sort of forced to watch Boca games EVERY FRIGGIN Sunday and he is someone I can't stand.
We lost....it sucks. I hope all of these problems that Colo Colo has been having get solved soon. Today we will see if Borghis has actually quit or not. They need to beat Atlas

There are no ugly babies...so there are not bad teams...but you don't be a genious to know that there is a bif diffference in consistency against River, Boca or Estudiantes and Arsenal or Lanus... It's just another underdog with momentum ( that tendency of these teams of coming from second division straight into the Lib just like Cucuta, Atlas, Chico, Lanus, USM and other teams) that make upsets but won't win it.....but I guess you are right in theory there are not bad teams...just bad players
BOCA vs COLO COLO part 2 tonight!
I wish COLO COLO had not being going through all this crap this week with Borghis quitting and arguing over money Frankly as much as I love him I am getting a little sick and tired of him quitting whenever he is pissed. This is like the fifth time.

I haven't been following la Libertadores too close this year since I don't like A.NAL and the other two Cucuta and Chico are just really small clubs with a bit of momentum but Colo Colo played really good and if they keep it like that shouldn't have problems qualifying.
For the title I think will be either SAoPAo, Cruzeiro, Students or River. And I hope Audax eliminates Nacional

Un punto se fue de Cuenca El Deportivo Cuenca y el argentino Lanús empataron a 1 en el duelo que jugaron ayer en la capital azuaya, por la cuarta fecha del Grupo 2 de la Copa Libertadores de América.

Giovanni Hernandez sucks man, I mean he was good enough for the Chilean league last year but not for La Libertadores. McNelly Torres is really good, llevo a Cucuta a la cima, he is the next Valderrama, he is still playing for Cucuta though, llega a Colo-Colo en Junio...
It's gonna be a rough game for Colo-Colo, this year's team sucks! They brought two Colombians that suck big time because Datolo (Riquelme's sub) refused to come to Colo-Colo and preferred to stay in Boca keeping the bench warm. I still have some hope though, Colo-Colo seems to play better internationally, more motivated.

A busy three days lie in store in the Copa Libertadores with nine games taking place up and down the continent, all of them with a huge bearing on the fate of the teams hoping to grab a place in the last 16. The most eyecatching of them all is the Group 3 showdown between Colo Colo and Boca Juniors in Santiago. And to whet your appetite FIFA.com is here with its usual Tuesday preview of the week's events in Latin America's biggest and best club competition.
Game of the week Group 3: Colo Colo-Boca Juniors, Thursday 20 March, 21:40 (local time)
The Santiago showdown is an enticing replay of the famous 1991 semi-final when El Cacique emerged victorious after two incident-packed ties. While the duo may not be competing for a place in the big final this time around, there is still plenty at stake on Thursday evening. In what is their first home game, Claudio Borghi's men need a win to move into second place at the halfway point of the group. Los Xeneizes, who drew on their only away-day so far, will be hoping to underline their pedigree as defending champions by registering a win that will take them clear at the top of the section.
Elsewhere There are two potential decisive battles to be fought in Group 2 this week. Estudiantes will attempt to reprise their heroic ten-man victory over bottom club Danubio in Montevideo two weeks ago when the sides meet again on Tuesday. Roberto Sensini's men will take some beating on their home patch, having gone unbeaten in La Plata since 10 March 2007. Joint top of the section with five points apiece, Deportivo Cuenca and Lanus meet up two days later in Colombia, just a week on from their goalless stalemate in Buenos Aires.
All four sides in Group 7 are also in action this week. Atletico Nacional and Sao Paulo lead the way with four points each and will put their credentials to the test with respective trips to Audax Italiano and Sportivo Luqueno, both of whom need wins to stay in serious contention.
Group 1 pacemakers Cruzeiro face a stiff challenge to their unbeaten record when they travel to second-placed Caracas, who have shaken off their tag as surprise packages by winning both their home dates so far. Keeping a very close eye on events in the Venezuelan capital will be the rejuvenated San Lorenzo, currently lying third in the table.
And finally, Wednesday sees three other Brazilian teams take to the field. In Group 4 Flamengo will be out for revenge when they entertain Nacional of Uruguay, who stand top of the section after comfortably prevailing in the first meeting between the two in Montevideo a fortnight ago. Compatriots Santos travel to Bolivia to take on Group 6 rivals San Jose in a duel that pits second against fourth, and the third Brazilian outfit appearing in the midweek trilogy is Fluminense, who lie handily placed in second in Group 8. Flu face a seemingly awkward test in Asuncion against Libertad and, after losing their first two games, the Paraguayans desperately need a win if they are to maintain hopes of reprising their charge to the last four in 2006.
Players to watch Ramires and Marcelo Moreno (Cruzeiro) The young duo have been the driving forces behind the Belo Horizonte outfit's push for Copa glory, scoring 9 of their side's 12 goals in the competition to date. A willowy, pacy attacking midfielder, Ramires has hit the back of the net five times already and provides the perfect foil to his imposing Bolivian sidekick. Barely in their 20s, the deadly duo will be out to plunder more goals in Venezuela on Tuesday night.
What they said "Man-marking Juan Roman Riquelme is not part of my plans. I'm not necessarily opposed to that particular system but I always think there's a risk the player will get away from you. We'll be marking him zonally, like any other player." Colo Colo coach Claudio Borghi talks tactics ahead of the decisive clash with Boca Juniors.
This week's fixtures: Tuesday 18 Caracas (VEN) - Cruzeiro (BRA) Estudiantes (ARG) - Danubio (URU) Audax Italiano (CHI) - Atletico Nacional (COL)
Wednesday 19 Flamengo (BRA) - Nacional (URU) San Jose (BOL) - Santos (BRA) Libertad (PAR) - Fluminense (BRA)
Thursday 20 Deportivo Cuenca (ECU) - Lanus (ARG) Colo Colo (CHI) - Boca Juniors (ARG) Sportivo Luqueno (PAR) - Sao Paulo (BRA) ________________________ Gonna be a tough game for Deportivo Cuenca.

So my team (colocolo) is playing my husbands team (Boca Jrs) this Thursday! It's an all out war at my house.
I was watching Futbol de Primera from Arg last night and it looks like Riquelme got injured on Sunday I hope he is out for the game this Thursday!!! My expecation for this "new" colocolo team is not very high but I hope they pull off a win.
How are your teams doing?
