Ademas there is a real buzz in the city with the Montreal Canadiens hockey team keep on winning games and the fans going wild and nuts in the stand chanting and signing during the game. All the 9 bigs snow storm that we have had up to now don't bother that much. Now I can't even see my neighbour front door with the big snow bank that I did this past weekend....
We only had two full days to do the tourist thing, so we did the Biodome, Insectarium, Notre Dame ( Two words: A Mazing) and the underground malls. It was really nice and different. We all loved it.
Thank you to all who gave me tips on what to do/where to go. Your info was quite useful. I found it to be such a laid back, funky, kinda cultural city. Can't wait to see more of it in the summer. And surprisingly, even though they have more of a winter than we do in T.O., people don't seem to care much. They just keep going.
Oh, and I thought I knew French. I don't.
And another Oh... if someone speaks fluent English and French, DO NOT assume they don't speak Spanish. I learned my lesson the hard way.
