He unfortunately passed on the same retinal cancer to his kid.

The kid looks just like him.

Sad indeed!

i was very sad when i read this... i didn't realize he was so sick. he was a great musician and really loved toronto, and did so much for the local music scene..

huge loss. RIP jeff

Healey was considered a prodigy and earned numerous Juno and Grammy nominations in the course of his career.

He lost both his eyes to retinoblastoma before he was eight-months-old, but never let that slow him down."
