We sacrifice safety for convenience all the time (how does your family sitting on 50 litres of gasoline, on a sunday drive, sound, for 'sacrificing safety over convenience'?) I think you just weigh your chances. The chances of your car falling in a big mass of water are highly unlikely. Actually, I'm pretty sure you're more likely to have your car catch fire/blow up, (among too many other things) than it is to fall in any significant amount of water. I wouldn't worry too much

ok just wanna read some opinions about car windows. POwer windows are so easy/convenient BUT are they necessaro;y safe? Situation: (knock on wood) yoru car flips over into a lake/huge mass of water. if ur car isnt on, ur power windows dont work, right? however, if u had roll down windows u could get out, yes?
wadyu think? is it better to have pwer windows or those ol fashion roll down windows where u would actualy have to use ur arm to crank open or close that window?
