Another reason for me to avoid Latin concerts in small venues. I'm not hating or anything but in this city nowadays you say something or push someone by accident you'd get punched, killed or stabbed. WTF* for the people who are cheap drunks and start fights STAY AWAY FROM ALCOHOL!
TRUE, Montreal kicks ass for concerts, because they know how to appreciate artists.

No es hecharles la culpa a los organizadores de las peleas pero en Canada si tu organizan un evento y el publico se lastima o alguien es agredido puede demandar al local y al organizador por falta de seguridad.
yo creo que la gente lo que quiere es que se tomen mejores medidas para evitar peleas y botar y si es posible arrestar a los que empiezan las peleas.
Y lo mas importante que el bar o personas del bar no le vendan mas cerveza a los que ya parecen que han tomado demaciado y estan creando lios, eso es ley en Canada incluso un bouncer no puede dejar entrar a un local a alguien que viene borracho y incluso un Bartender no puede vender mas cerveza a alguien que aparenta ya estar muy intoxicado.
Muchos eventos latinos ignoran estas leyes de Toronto por que quieren hacer cuanta plata puedan pero como alguien dijo antes si alguien sale lastimado y los enjuicia, de que le valio hacer tanta plata????
Si al final hasta le pueden cerrar el local y por seguro quitar la licencia de licor que es bien dificil de conseguir.
Asi que seamos responsables todos desde los organizadores hasta los invitados (nosotros)

That is how the promoter feels when there is a fight, bad weather; the artist cancels the show, or anything that can affect the show.

Charlie Moet&Caliente Ent. would like to thank everybody for all the support and for attending our events, we are sorry about the fight that happend at Oro Solido but believe me we will improve the security we want peolple to feel safe and enjoy our events, we are not cheap dont think we hire ludacris security but you have to understand that fights is something you cannot prevent when people are drinking some is bound to happend some just dont know how to handle their liquor.

yo creo que los organizadores tienen que abrir los ojos a posibles futuras demandas de alguien que sufra una agrasion en algun evento y decida demandar al local, asi como dicen que muchos en este foro se estan portando mejor por temor a ser BANNED del forum los organizadores tienen que tomar mejres medidas para que los revoltososo e irresponsables que dejan que crean problemas y le hechan la culpa a la cerveza piensen bien antes de actuar.
Yo se que es caro pero pueden contratar a policias OFF DUTY para que sean la seguridad o incluso pagar para tener policias uniformados con acceso al local.
El ahorro (a no invertir en buena seguridad y como alguien dijo dejar que la policia arreste a los peleadores (as)) les puede salir caro ya que solo toma que una persona entable una demanda y se les acaba el negocio. SEGURIDAD y responsabilidad del club a no vender cerveza a los que aparentan estar ya bajo la influencia.
Just to let you know, I was at the concert. First of all the power went out pretty early in the night, around 6pm. Of course when we got there, it was dark and gloomy. Then we just waited around for about 3 hours to be let in. It was not cool because we were not informed at all as to what was going on, whether it was cancelled or the show was a go. As for the fights, I think it had to do alot with the drinking. People were drinking big-time. Of course, what do you expect when the main feature played at 120am. There was lots of time to get loaded. There were fights all kinds, little ones and big ones. Now I am not saying that it doesn't happen anywhere else, but at times the bouncers/security were too late to stop any of them. Good security is preventative security. Situations should not be allowed to escalate to the point where the public is feeling threatened and feels they have to leave because shots may be fired soon. Mind you, there were many females that were being very, very rude and just shoving everybody in their way just to start something up regardless of age, they had no respect for anybody. My point being, it was not as enjoyable as I had expected, due to the security and the organization. Invest a little more on the security and trust it will be worth it. Not so much for the preventions of fights but for having people feel safe where they have paid to be entertained. Let's not be cheap with our lives.
now i see why some of you old complainers have been beheaving lately... cus u might get ip banned AGAIN! lol j/k....but honestly ppls, sometimes there are some G E T T O s out there trying to show their macho side in every fu***ng concert...and let me tell you I also saw some "girls" (OMG they don't even deserve to be called girls....) started fights @the concert... 1. Congrats to Caliente and Charlie Moet i heard it was well organized and i must congradulate you Gentlemen for Dressing for the Event you all look very very GQ and most importantly very professional!

Si los promotores y duenos de los club no hacen algo para evitar peleas o poner cargos a los que crean problemas alguien inocente va a salir lastimado y los cargos que esta victima puede presentar a los organizadores y el club les van a costar mucho mas.
Of course sumthin like that was gonna happen. Los promotores were too cheap to spend sufficcient money on good security. It's the same story in this dumb city. These money hungry monkeys will never learn All these skuzzy wannabe thugs who show up with their "STITCHES" gear shouldn't of been let in the first place! Just a bunch of little wannabe wiggers...
Even if the promoters would charge the people who instigate fights, (knowing greedy promoters) they would probably cause the fights themselves just to make a quick buck...lol
All this is just to prove it all comes down to one thing - the promoters were GREEDY!

Nada que ver. Yo estuve alli hasta las 2 de la mañana y solo vi una de una tipa que queria ir a tocar a los miembros de Oro Solido. El novio no la dejaba y ella empezo a volar golpes por todos lados. That's the only one I saw, maybe there were more afterwards, but from what I saw, everyone seemed to be okay; the place was full but not extremely packed. It was fun. The show was pretty good, although maybe I've been out of the concert scene for too long, but the acts are getting pretty racy, especially the girls that come up to dance with the bands. Oh, and Mezcla Tipica would be a really, really good band if it was instrumental. I think either the singers were completely off-key, or maybe being dissonant is "in" now. I wasn't too impressed with their singing. Shantall was really good. She has a beautiful voice and Oro Solido, well, they're always good. Although that's one band that's famous out of changing the lyrics to one song: it seems that every song is exactly the same, just different words. I still enjoyed them all the same, though. They're always great.

si hubieron peleas, una pena que peleas opaquen un evento, los organizadores deberian de empezar a poner cargos encontra de todos los que participan en peleas, muchos de estas personas que les gusta crear conflictos lo hacen porque saben que lo unico que les pasara sera que los boten, es hora de llamar a la policia y arrestarlos y ponerles cargo por disturbios en propiedad privada.
Yo, no fui pero me contaron que en el concierto de Oro Solido hubieron peleas por todos lados. Peleas de hombres, peleas de mujeres. WTF!!!! que paso con la gente. I guess those Oro Solidos really put everyone A GOZARRRRR hahahahahaha
