if you kill a police officer in self defense, is it self defense?
Say you're chomba/chombo (black) and you come across the biggest racist arsehole cop in the world. He starts to arrest you, and when you ask why, he starts beating you with his stick and says "resisting arrest". He starts to reach for his gun, but you reach for yours first and you fire off a few rounds that disable and kill him.
what do you think would happen? Would you call it self-defense???
