you can do like a poker party theme and have anything that the house wins meaning the dealer goes to the birthday person! and u dont have to make it big money like a dollar or quarters (spare change) but in the end it all adds up!
Bring him/her back to there younger days and have a slumber party! we did that for robs friend we all went over and acted like we were in high school watched movies played card games or board games and had bbq (i know its cold now) but it was a blast and it was all co-ed singles and couples and we all slept on the floor couches inflateable mattresses and in the morning everyone cooked! it was a blast honestly plus since most of us were drunk or high we didnt care cuz no body had to drive home!
ask them what has been there one crazy idea or dream thing to do and help them follow thru with it! like if its skydiving they have awsome "fake" but real feels like real expereinces or stuff like that!
OR go to Keele and Sheppard theres a go cart track you can rent it and just have races all day and they also have rooms for u to party in! its cool and fun!
@ Quixote - cus i don't like it & since it's me buying & paying for it, it will be wat I want. I'll get anything but games.
@ Chilenita - well if there is anything good worth the $$ then I may consider it.
BUT if the gift is FOR someone else (x), wouldn't it make more sense to buy what that person likes instead... I mean, it's about the birthday boy/girl, no? Is it not about making 'em happy?

If it's X: Just just up at his door on a Friday, tell him to get some clothes in a bag, take him away for the weekend and ... yeah... have fun with him. As for the girl, invite her along too, like Chilenita said.
If it is in fact for X, posting here kindda takes the surprise away, no?

@ LG - I wouldn't buy any games for him even if I knew that made him teh ahppiest men alive. So not an option. Now if I buy any games ver it'll be one I like, sino nada.
@ X - No not for u.
@ Chilenita - yes gifts, party, any ideas of things u've done for others or been to.
Just curious why you wouldn't want to buy a video game that he would like? What are your reasons?
I mean I know I party is good & I can make it theme type, but really I was looking for something a bit more unique, more of something with a wow factor in it.
that all depends on how much you are willing to spend. WOW = $$$$
