I think most of central and south america (mostly central) will be a good place in invest in the near future Once all the baby boomers start looking for a place to retire (which they already have) they're going to eat that ish up Look at prices in Mexico, Costa rica, Panama, Honduras, etc... especially near water/ocean

Nicaragua is an excellent place to invest, but not a lot of people do. I guess there's still fear due to the political instability-- though some risky investors, especially canadians who compare prices with Costa Rica, for example, are just buying up as much land as possible, especially near water.
@ Chile: Let me know if you see a nice, affordable ocean-front piece of land when you go in April
