That's what I thought too.
Unfortunately NO. 2-0, 3-1 will give the title to Flu...but LDU has done a good job away, I always assumed they were going to lose in their away homes, and most of the times they came back with a tie!
are u sure brother?
if Flu scores 2 goals that brings them into a tie with ecuador because ecuador is 2 goals ahead..... if Flu wants to win without going to over time they need 3 goals.

My apologies ...you guys were right, I was thinking in la Copa Sudamericana (Conmebol), that's were they have the away rule....for some reason I thought that was adopted in both tournaments...SO 2-0 would send you to penalties
okay cool, i was getting a little worried there for a min and is not penalties is 30 mins over time first

Dang... In other words, LDU needs to lose by one goal or do better than that to win.... lose by two goals or more and it's Fluminense's cup? I am STILL not convinced, I am pretty sure I heard during the game that there was a possible scenario for OVERTIME & PENALTY SHOTS in second game.

Go ecuador! vamos LIGA! I have to cheer for my other side too!
every ecuadorian should be cheering for Liga, this is a very big moment in ecuadorian football history, and u also have to remember that the winner of this moves on to the world cup of soccer clubs and this cup is just as big as the world cup.
GO LIGA!!!!
~X
It might be as big as the Confederation Cup (where the winner of each continent play) but teams take those tournaments as friendly games....I rather the Intercontinental Cup, but the European teams take it easy, and the stars tend to get injure right before those games
Wouldn't it be nice if they do an actual Clubs World Cup?
I was very surprised of the score, I really hope Liga take it...but don't count out FLu yet... a 2-0 gives them the title

Lo que?... I had never even heard of it! Maybe 'cause our Ecua teams never made it this far.
The 2008 FIFA Club World Cup is a football tournament scheduled for 12-21 December 2008 in Japan. It will be the 5th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The fifth-place match, dropped for the 2007 edition, will be reintroduced for this edition, with the prize money being increased by USD 500,000 to USD 16.5 million[1]. (From USD 16.0 million before)

Althou I'm soooo happy for them cus it's already history for our Ecua Team & so far Liga is the one that's done the BEST in this tournament within Ecuador (over Barcelona, Emelec, etc.).
GREAT JOB LIGA...Y SUERTE NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has nothing to do with Copa Libertadores, but...
Por que les dicenlosequipo astillero
Historia amarilla
