Who cares?  Bottom line is Canadian troops should also get the hell out of there.  They have no business being there either.  They should have pulled out long ago. NOBODY has any business being there.  There is no reason to be invading Iraq.  There was never a reason.

Oh yes, Chilenita !  100% agree with you on this and wow too. It shows that you can strike peacefully....this is something that I am proud of you.

Ademas, who the hell are we to have a colonialist attitude to occupied other countries. Our taxes money would better be server into peace actions, healthcare over here especially when you see our hospitals in bad shape, roads (pot holes), transportation ...(like high speed train as in europe) because we are losing a lot of time by being stuck into traffic and we pollute the planet like crazy. This was only to name a few. Instead our tax money which we have being working hard for is send to soldier who are having fun shooting to innoncent people in afghanistan.  What a waste of spending our money! Let's punish the Conservative party as we did to the liberals last elections. Get involve, join the Van Wagon and  YES WE CAN !
Next elections, please yourself by voting with the result of throwing these crooks (fools) out of office. Register properly by making sure you got the right to vote (www.elections.ca) for next elections and Vote for the underdogs in your ridding.

You previously lost trust about politics, it's up to you to take your power, your right to make things change.  No matter for who you vote,

Again ....3 simples words,   Yes We Can !

Word up !

@ Miguel - What did you think of Bill Clinton as the President?!?!?

i think he did a lot of good for the country... the sex scandal notwithstanding which i don't think has much to do with his capacity to govern.

the three reasons that i think hillary should not be president (and may not be, even if she becomes the nominee):

- i don't believe in dynasties, i didn't like bush jr coming in, and i don't think that robohill should come in for the same reasons. 28 years of two families? what is this, a monarchy?????

- the way that bill clinton has been acting lately - he has been downright dirty in attacking obama. he's a frigging former president for god's sake, have some class.

- hillary clinton is a polarizing figure, while obama might be able to sway some independents and some republicans over, if there's one thing that will end up uniting the republicans (who are divided right now) is the one thing they ALL have in common - their hate for the clintons!!!!!!!!!!!!

i guarantee you that when mccain gets the nomination, all the republicans will end up uniting against her. as much as some may not like mccain, nothing will get them going more than the prospect of Slick Willy and robohill back in the white house.

the only concrete shot at the white house that the democratic party has is Obama, who can sway some independents and republicans. McCain vs Hillary - can you see it now? maverick war hero vs. most polarizing woman in america...

and then, mccain will be president.

Well Miguey I will disagree with u in this one, cus I'm a go, go for Hilary.

I think either one will do good changes, in my opinion. I just think that hilary's insight is more real & I think with her experience & expertise she'll do good.

It takes a Clinto to clean up after a bush. LOL That was her quote. LOL Luv it!

As long as the Republican gets out of office...the same applied to the Conservative party who are deeply influence by them. A lot of spending...our taxes goes to soldiers of war in afghanistan and Iraq leading into huge debt and recession (in the states). That how they are in politics...if don't take care of voting for your interest then the politicians will take care of you badly ...they see their interest first and big companies. ....Vote for the underdogs and not for an image paid by millions of $$$$$$$ into publicity.

IF Democrats are smart they can chage history, If hilary or Obama are not greedy and they dont want to eat the entire cake both of themare able to  get rid of Republicans, only IF they  team up.

Imagine a Black president with a Female Vicepresident or the other way around..Let's Face it, McCain is WAY but WAY stronger than either Barack or Clinton, John McCain.

The Chess moves already in place before Super tuesday, Giuliani & Edwards are out to create a stronger winner.

Democrats have the chanze to change history I just hope they don't get griddy, look this video..the dream ticket..is this a Hint ?

Who gives a sh it?  They spent TONS AND TONS AND TONS of money invading Iraq to begin with.  Who cares what it will cost them now.  I sure as hell don't.  They had no f uc k ing reason to be there killing people in the first place.  So they can put their tails between their legs and get back the f uck off.  They didn't expect the take over of Iraq to be as hard as it was.  They didn't expect to loose so many of their own.  They didn't expect the uprising and battle and they were NOT prepared for it.  Too bad so fu cking sad. BOO freaking hoo.

Well she is proposing to do much more than that.  Her platform is pretty solid.  She is focusing on the troops because it is important.  I mean how long with the United States continue to kill innocent people and rip their country apart.  The troops should get the hell out of there.  There was no reason to be there in the first place and that is a MAJOR issue.  Weapons of mass destruction my A S S!!! Ugh the things they get away with makes me sick to my stomach.bleh

So woo hoo to Hilary for that promise.  Fix the mistake that d i c k head bush made.  Well it can't be fixed since so many people have DIED but they should stop the madness asap.

Ohhhhhhhhhh I can't friggin decide who I like better.  Check this out.  I thought it was interesting.

One of Oprah Winfre's favorite people in the world, Maya Angelous has come out in support of Hillary.

The Clinton campaign is featuring the esteemed poet in a new radio commercial featuring her distinctive and captivating voice.

Says Angelou:

As a child, Hillary Clinton was taught that all Gods children are equal, so as a mother she understood that her child wasnt safe unless all children were safe.

I know what kind of president Hillary Clinton will be because I know who she is. Hillary Clinton has always been a strong woman and a passionate protector of families. For 35 years, thats exactly what she has been doing.

Each generation of African Americans stands on the shoulders of those who came before. Today, the challenges facing us threaten the dreams we have had for our children. We need a president with the experience and strength to meet those challenges.

I am inspired by Hillary Clintons commitment and courage a daughter, a wife, a mother my girl.

EEUU-ELECCIONES (análisis)

La batalla de Clinton contra Clinton

Paco G.Paz

EFE

to tell u the truth I saw this win coming.. iowa would have never voted for clinton.

i think she will win the race and will become the first women president in U.S.A history and obama will becaome the first black V-P in U.S.A history..

u know what it's funny that other counties like in pakistan, india, south america, canada has had or have women president, and the U.S.A bugging everyone for women right has never had one or one in the race?

Did not surprise me at all. The media in Canada and in a lot of parts in the US is in love with the Clinton's therefore biased most of the time.

The result:People do not get the real picture.

In 2004, if you read the canadian papers  you would think Bush did not have a chance and the guy won by more than four million votes.

Wishing and perception does not nesesary equals reality.

Those who have lived in the US and are not blind followers of  one sigle person or party, know Hillary well. She is a very polarizing figure. Her suporters love her to death, as well as her husband's.
But  she has the highest negatives of any candidate ever. It means that people who don't adore her, are totaly against her. That diminishes her chances with the "swing" and "independant" voters.

The american people are looking for change, and Hillary and her husband represent the stablishment.Through the years they have been involved in dozens of corruption scandals that never received coverage here in Canada.
They where in power for 8 years and did not end poverty neither got blacks  out of the conditions they where before. She does not like to be critiziced and can come across as arrogant, cold and elitist. Her husband did not show  much respect for women while in the oval office, so he can be a doble edge sword for her.
Barack at least seems genuine and was the only one among the candidates that voted against invading Irak. The guy does not flip flop on issues and even if they do not agree with him, you can tell where he stands.
The americans are ready for a Black and a female president, it just comes down to issues and the ability of the individual to communicate and inspire trust and hope.
So far Obama is the only one of the democrat candidates who seems to be doing it.
Besides all that , Hillary still has a pretty good chance.

Obama handily beat hillary on women voters, which she thought would go her way. Hillary's problem is not the fact that she is female, but that she is associated with the status quo. We'll see if she can get over that label in the next little while

Not sure it has to do with womens equality.  Hillary has flip flopped on so many issues over the years.  I think they are ready for a real change.  They already did the Clinton thing.

His speech was great!  I find over the last few months he has gotten much better at making speeches.  Not that he was ever bad.  He is obviously more confident and it shows.  VERY exciting that is for sure!!

I thought Hilary had it.

Bill still has a huge following....so if he campaigns for her....it will help her out a lot. I hope she wins New Hampshire to make it a tighter race.

Who do you prefer...Hillary or Barack?

Obama's Iowa win shunts Clinton into third place

Barack Obama's victory in the overwhelmingly white state of Iowa could answer the question of whether America is ready to elect a black president. oters also seemed to reject the criticism that the first-term senator from Illinois lacked experience, wooed instead by his message of change.

He said: "Hope is the bedrock of this nation, the belief that our destiny will not be written for us but by us; by all these men and women who are not content to settle for the world as it is; who have the courage to remake the world as it should be. That is what we started in Iowa and that is the message we can now carry to New Hampshire and beyond."

Polls of people entering the caucuses showed his words also resonated with many independent voters.

All of which added up to a bad night for Hillary Clinton, who has seen her position as Democratic front-runner falter.

But she can take comfort from the fact she did far better than husband and former president Bill Clinton in Iowa. In 1992's Iowa caucus he scored just 3.5 per cent of the Democrat vote.

Hillary Clinton said: "How will we win in November 2008? By nominating a candidate who will be able to go the distance, and who will be the best president on day one. I am ready for that contest."

She is ahead in opinion polls in New Hampshire, but to shore up her bid her husband Bill will begin campaigning for her in the New England state.

Any thoughts foro?
