exactly ! , man if you gave tip to everyone just because you feel like giving money away you ll be spending a lot of $$ , they want a tip for coat check , at the bar , etc etc

If I have to get up walk to the bar , do my line up and ask for a beer I don't think I should be leaving a tip everytime i do that.. In fact i dont see any difference between me doing that and going to tim hortons, burger king , etc

it has nothing to do with being poor. I just don't like throwing my money away for not reason. Once maybe but not everytime that is for sure.

I think it's just because Hispanics are poorer.

oh hold on , if i have to go to the bar and get my own drink then i ll may tip a 1 or 2, once but not everytime i go to the bar to get more drinks.
Its a whole different story if you are at a restaurant and they bring you food to your table , or at a bar and they bring you the drinks to the table.

If you are suggesting to tip the bartender everytime i go there to get my drink it will make sense for me to tip the guy a mc donals , burger king, movie theather etc , et c , etc , the same rule applies i go to get my item , i wait in line , then i paid for it. I am not saying i dont do it but I believe it is totally up to you to tip someone if you go there to get it yourself.

But if they bring it to you and serve you ( like in a table) then is a must i guess

just for the record I do tip the bartenders once , not everytime i go there . Drinks are already overpriced
