Okay wait a sec!!! She is already 16 months old and almost has all her teeth. I read that as soon as teeth appear you should take them to the dentist. So I am not being over paranoid.- You've read waaaaay too many parenting books. My formula is: Rotting teeth = First visit to the dentist.
Nevermind I am starting to potty train her soon THat will be another stressful event. She says pee pee and she says poo poo but she is scared of the potty- Just keep her in diapers until the 1st grade.
Oh and I am looking for a pre school but I need to choose the right one. Montessori is flippin expensive. What will I do- If you're that paranoid, home-school her. ON the other hand, if the school around the corner was good enough for those other 900 kids, it should be good enough for Pupusita Jr.
Ummmmmm you are right I need to up the amount of daily weed intake -
I am not worried about elementry school. It's pre school I am worried about.

Chilindrina, you are one stressed out mom. Relax, woman. You need to start smoking the good herb 24/7. Honestly.

Is she into Hanna Montana? If she is... here is the challenge - try and get her a pair of tickets from the scalpers. It's completely sold out and a lot of girls her age just LOOOOOVVEEE HANNA MONTANA. It would have to be given early, though - cause the show is December 15th!!!

I tried to get tics for Hanna Montana cuz that would have been "major" but I didn't try hard enough and they sold out. Now if I could get Spice girl tickets that would impress her.
She already sponsers a girl in Nicaragua and a boy in some other country. Trust me grandpa taught her all about giving.
Man this is stressing me out.
Sheesh, now you're stressing ME out... I give up. I don't know what you can give your 7-year-old niece who has it all. :throwingarmsupintheairindefeat:

Okay so since she was the first little one in our family and the ONLY little one for 6 years until Chile Jr came along we have always kind of spoiled her. I have some yearly Xmas traditions with her like Cavalcade of lights, skating and Disney on Ice. The outing are more than covered. Educational stuff my mom has covered with her. I am the fun one that gives her the wicked gifts but I am stumped this year.
Chile: You were BORN difficult. As for your fun outings, they're boring to a 7-year-old... I was thinking more like Neb's Fun World kinda thing.
Maybe you should buy a cow for an African kid in your niece's name. Sounds like she has too much already. Or buy her a star. Those are always a hit with kids.

I need ideas from those of you who either have kids or buy for kids at Xmas time.
My niece is 7 yrs old. She has everything that is like new and cool for kids these days. What the hell can I buy her for Xmas?
She stresses my out every year
Don't get stressed. Get her a bunch of little things: the brain age games () a tea set (I loooooooooved tea sets when I was a kid) but you have to play with her; something educational () Did you know that there's Spanish for DS too? Yup... educational. Get her the I Spy books from Scholastic and read them with her. Those are the funnest. Oh, and take her out for a fun outing... kids love DOING things too.

Gif Cards they are so good for kids cause now days they know what they want, that what I give 2 my Primos....
Whatever you do, DO NOT give a kid a gift card. They'll look at it on Xmas morning and go They like seeing PRESENTS under the tree, they love getting toys and you'll be saving the parents the stress of more shopping.
I repeat: DO NOT give a kid a gift card. That's a big And I KNOW what I'm talking about.

I noticed in the other thread that your niece also has a Wii. Get her the High School Musical game for the Wii which comes with a microphone for singing and flopping around.
OMG what a wicked idea! I am going to do that.
Okay so I need more ideas. She is like a daughter so I need more than one gift I know I am soooooooooo part of the problem

She has it. Why on earth my bro would get it for her 3 weeks b4 xmas is beyond me.
@Pri...she is 7 years old and has not yet developed an obsession for fashion. I liked clothes at that age but she still doesn't care. She also has tons of cute clothes. That would soooooooooo not impress her.
I need something WOW!
She loves high school musical so I got her front row for the Disney on Ice version but we do Disney on ice every year so that wont be a big whoop either.
