@Miguel: DS is fun too... and it can be educational. I know that's the least of players' worries, but it helps, especially for parents who had to give in to those godforsaken things.

There are 3 types of mods available to the Wii. The oldest Wiis are easiest to mod. The newer Wii will require someone with good modding experience to mod.

the DS is the number one system around the world, it has sold more than the PS3 and the Xbox put together, everyone loves that thing, I guess is because the games are fun to play and u can just pick up and start playing and not have to wait for the system to load up and stuff like that.

they add/replace a chip inside the Wii, the chip is like $20 and u can buy it anywhere, the trick is putting it in the wii. Now sure what kind of effect it will have with updates and stuff like that.

I'm still thinking about getting one, I'll wait till next year and see what happens.

I didn't do it myself... I got it done. They open up your Wii and do I don't know what + modify the Operating System... All I know is that it was worth it for me cuase instead of spending 30-60 bucks per game, I spend casi nada!

I finally got a Wii... Yay!!!!

I've been procrastinating thinking :meh: there's still tons of time till Christmas and then this weekend hit and they were ALL GONE. NO STORE HAS THEM and if they get them, they're gone within minutes. I finally, FINALLY, got one today. Why are those goddamn things so hard to find??? Why isn't Nintendo making more? Sheesh!

Anyone else go through this predicament?

Not that I care... I got one.
