The only upgrade they were supposed to do was come out with a Wii that played cd's and DVD's. I think they scrapped that option cause it would increase the cost of the system and they are doing fine as it is.

I wouldn't pay extra just so it could play DVD's.

they can still do that just with a fireware update to the systems that are already out, the games are on DVD's so the drive in the Wii is already a DVD player, is just the firmware thats stopping it from playing them.

another thing thats out there in rumors is voice chat over WiFi for online games like the PS3 and the 360 have.

not a new system but most likely new Wii's in diff colours.
The thing with Nintendo is that they keep everything very quiet and not much is known, but if they where to release a new system they would just shoot them selfs in the foot with the 360 and the PS3 going down in price it would be harder for them to compete.

We are most likely to get new fireware updates to improve the system thats already out.

Well this little app can help u stream the files from ur computer to ur Wii via the Internet Channel.

I haven't tried it yet but I will very soon and let u know more about it, in the mean time if u like here is the link and give it a try urself.

Both... the buffsters finished Zelda already and they got M Galaxy this weekend... they also got Mario Party for DS, and I loooooooove it!  Now I'm playing with them all the time. :shameonme:

I tried Guitar Hero this weekend. Even though I really sucked, I liked it. From watching people playing it at the stores, I thought it would be boring; but it is actually a fun game... I just have to get the hang of it and try to start using more fingers... While playing this game, I heard a couple of people use the term "FINGERING" - I thought it was kindda funny

yes u need to have the same games and no u don't have to pay for it, if u have a wireless router at home u just hook it up to it like a laptop, u can also get a lan adapter and ur a wire to it but it will cost u for the adapter.

the wii has a built in wireless card, u can get online and play other people around the word but u can all get the Wii ID from ur friends and play them online.

u can also get a USB adapter like JC here did and that would also help u get online if u don't have a wireless router.
