Teacher's Porn Star Moonlighting Gig Gets Her School Suspension

Some teachers have a hard time making ends meet, so they take on extra jobs after school is over. But what Anna Ciriani does when her class is dismissed has gotten her suspended from her job and won her international fame - or infamy, depending on how you look at it.

Ciriani teaches night school to foreign students in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy - or at least she did until the local board heard about what she was doing in her spare time. To put it simply, Ciriani's extra curricular activities involve being a porn star. She stars in several hardcore videos, appears in less than dressed garb over the Internet and does regular guest shots at erotic shows across Europe.

And it's not the first time her actions have caught the attention of outraged officials. Five years ago, she was teaching Italian literature at a high school in the town of Pordenone when students discovered her after hours work and began covering campus toilets with nude pictures of their instructor downloaded off the Internet.

Her unwanted switch to the subject of "sex education" forced her to leave town and she wound up fronting night classes to adult students elsewhere. But her past - and her present - has caught up to her there, too.

She calls herself "Madameweb" in her videos and Italian newspapers have taken to calling her the "Porn prof." Officials say she doesn't belong in their school system, with local authorities calling her actions "not compatible with educational activity."

But Ciriani refuses to take the criticism, arguing her private life is totally separate from what she does when she's in class. "My behavior at school has always been professional and irreproachable," she insists. "I am a normal woman, with my family and my work as a teacher. I am (also) looking for transgression and sex."

There's no word on whether she'll apply to get her day job back, but in the meantime she has her other career to fall back on. As of now she can pursue it full time - "Madameweb" has been suspended from teaching anywhere until further notice.
