I was there the weekend b4 last.

I have been going to Mana for like 6 yrs and nothing major besides the odd fight has ever happened. This article isnt saying what happened. I will say that the crowd is not as good and is more punky then it used to be. hmm

Reminds me of another latino hangout I was driving to on the wknd. As I was parking in front of the bar/club/restaurant, a bunch of dudes came out and one of them started launging punches to another dude. Security had to get involved to separate them. As I watched from my vehicle, I noticed dude drvie to his car which happened to be parked in front of mine, and before he entered his car, he pulled two beer bottles from his waist and dropped them gently on the street. I suspect those were to be used if the fight scalated.

Man shot in chest outside College Street lounge

A 25-year-old man was just leaving a popular College Street lounge when a man walked up to him and shot him in the chest, police say.

The victim had just walked out of Mana Bar and Lounge, located at 722 College Street, when three men approached him. That's when one of the men pulled out a gun and fired a shot.

The victim was able to wave down a taxi and get himself to Toronto Western Hospital. He is in stable condition.

Police are investigating but still want to speak to anybody who might have information on the case. The public can call 14 Division at 416-808-1400 or if they wish to remain anonymous, they can leave a tip with Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
