Was it Canelazo what this past Saturday's event was?
After watching De La Hoya lose, I went to check out the fiesta at the Ukranian Hall with some friends - Holy Shi tload of gente there! I had a good time listening to some good ol' San Juanitos and having a taste of el canelazo!
Good to see some familiar Foro faces.

Preparation: In top of double boiler add water, light-brown or white sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Fill half of double boiler´s bottom portion with water and set over medium-high heat. Stir mixture until sugar dissolves, then continue heating 10 minutes, making sure that mixture does not boil, and lowering heat if necessary.
Stir in aguardiente or rum and lime juice and remove from heat. Wet rims of four small glass tumblers with water or lime juice and press upside down into bowl of sugar. You're forgiven!
whatever you highlighted above was in referenct to traditional Ecua musica y un trago/drink Ecuatoriana served with "agua de CANELA" aka boiled cinamon watter and sugar, + hornado aka roasted pork.
The end.
I remember your litle tiraflechas looking good in his yellow Ecua jersey!
