I guess reggaeton is something that people love or hate, I respect the genre, but I think what really annoys me is the people that makes the assumption reggaeton=latino, porque eso si en su mal espanol son los que se la pasan gritando que son los PAPIIIIIIS LATINOS when their music is more linked to hip hop and the rap ghettos.

u do know that hiphop started off with latinos as well right? in the bronx... same place were many classic salsa tracks have come from the bx and harlem..
reggaeton incorporates many other "latin" musical genres into its songs such as salsa bachata merengue cumbia etc etc...to say that it aint a latin genre is just silly.... music evolves with time but the roots will still be there...
Oh Well No Matter what Even If PPL Don't like it they are giving more popularity 2 it so if they are trying 2 stop it, It won't happen... I love reggaeton not all of it but the ones a I like 2 me they are good..
