I travel with Via, It's a  bit expensive, but it's better than travelling in a bus! If you are a student and have an ISIC card you'll get a major discount!

u can also look around in the net for people that go up to montreal and share a car, all u have to do is pay for half the gas and stuff like that, I've never done it but I've heard of people that do it all the time.

If I remember correctly, Greyhound use to be $90+. $60+ if you were a student. Weekends (I think it was cheaper weekdays)
Cheapest would be walking though
