Hmmmm... I'm no expert, and without knowing all the details.. I guess you can always have your car put in your company's name and make payments from your company's account (assuming you can justify legitimate use for your vehicle.. your accountant would know that)
The thing is if the insurance wrote it off... I dunno how all the minor details would work
Also.. you should ask your accountant, because there is a certain portion you can write off for vehicle allowance, without having the vehicle in your company's name, which might be enough to cover your payment, or part

El Mismo, don't worry about where the other agencies are. Go to where Genie is. She'll take care of you.

What do you mean write it off as an expense? ... The repairs to be done, or...? or you want to buy a crashed car and write it off?

You know what Cli ill be honest it just pissed me off that some ppl come on here and say oh its like this and like that and to be honest not all agencies are the same and ppl dont know how hard it is to get a contract to be out there and sell yourself you guys think that companies are waiting for you to knock on there door there not its hard but he made it seem like its so easy!!! So i guess thats why i was just plain out rude! anyways thanks for the comments!

@chile - no im sick with a sore throat!! and his comment just rubbed me the wrong way maybe i just took it that way but yeah!

ok, I don't usually like to start beef with Genie because then she goes off all high and mighty on foro, and since she has a her lil group of friend son here, they'll prob stomp all over my comments, (like im sure they will on this one)

but really Genie, is it really necessary for you to be rude all the time when someone posts something they "think" is right and u dont agree?   u said it urself " not all agencies work the same"   maybe GL was refering to how he thinks or how he's seen an agency work. Ive worked for job agencies and that is exactly how they work, maybe with 1 or 2 different things, but the overall idea is the same. u charge a company a certain amount then u pay the worker a lower amount, the company keeps a certain percentage of the overall pay.

if im wrong, then please explain it to me. but im fairly sure that the basic idea of an agency is that.

we charge $25/hr per security personnel needed at a venue, we then hire guys and pay them either a nightly wage (up to $120) or an hourly wage ($9-$13) depending on how much experience the guy has... the company has to keep some money for insirance n miscellaneous expenses.

How do job agencies work? I haven't looked for a job for about 7 years.

they basically find jobs 4 u and charge company, lets say about 20 per hour, then they pay u around lets say 7-11 bucks an hour and they keep the rest, great money for the company, sometimes they charge a whole lot more but they keep the money. started thinkin about openin one myself
