My VS Ultra recently went down - had the " _ _ _ _ " four dashes display... I had to get it reprogrammed. I took it to the guy who sold me the receiver, he fixed it for free... but I bought a cable/adapter from the guy to hook up the receiver to my laptop (for $20) and he gave me the programs I need as well. I sortta had figured it out already how to do it - all the info is online.

this is funny because now that Blue Ray was won, they have to battle with downloaded media, so it might be just a shore celebration for Sony, with time it will get more popular and u would not need to buy a Blue Ray player, just download the movie, legally.

The thing is with downloading the movie, it may take a few hours... as opposed to just going to the corner to rent the movie.
thats because u r thinking illegally where u have to share the same file with others and the connection, but legally u get a direct connection to the file so it will be a lot faster.

really? Sounds good - at least in theory.
Then again... FTA already provides the latest movies!

I'm concidering getting a HD DVD player or Blue Ray Disc player. Perhaps just getting a PS3 (that comes with Blue Ray) or Xbox 360 (to which you can attach a the XBox HD DVD Player).
Which is best, Blue Ray or HD DVD? Why?
It was reported just a few days ago that Blue Ray has one the war. They are stopping production on HD DVD's.
I did hear that Toshiba was stopping production of HD DVD Player's... Thank God, I was not able to catch one during boxing week! I got neither one yet.
