man man man ......im almost having little hope for la tri....im still not over the first game......i dont see us making it if we continue playing like this...i dont know why they dont integrate those players from la sub 18  remember when portugal did the same in the euro for christiano ronaldo....

But suarez and his time is out......he did what he had to do....just look at the pattern of games after germany 3-0......a few wins and more ties and the wins were all at home for the most part...

they want to bring delagado back hahahaha poor guy is already 35...

a sad truth for ecuadorian soccer:(....

To be fair, they were playing against a high quality Brazilian team whose offense was firing off on all cylinders.

Ecuador should be able to turn it around and start winning some games.

I watched the game last nite and it was a massacre, when  I saw the last goal...I felt sorry, I love Ecuatorian people, but they are not up to the standards to the SOuthAmerican football right now, they will be probably fighting for the last spot with Bolivia...no offense

Also this coach let the newpapers do his job, when he put on the players he want and then when the newpapers don't agree, he does make them happy by putting them on the team.. no commom sense..

@Pri

I knew u would like that..

Like I said Ecuador has to get rid of some player, and now the coach, the way Ecuador played yesterday it's like they had no coach, it looks like the players lost respect for the coach and u know what that is a sign, they loked like crap.. Hurtado vale ve rga, Tenorio the same, u had great players on the bench, and u don't put them on that is a joke also u don't Called up franklin Salas one of ecuador's best player who is playing in grecce come on .. coach has to go

I'm upset about the lost of course, but wat really gets to me is that they lost sooooo poorly & with no dignity. I mean....HOW? , HOW? can the golie let that idiot of CACA (I know it's Kaka, which BTW is cute ashamed.gifblankstare.gif althou I hate him wink.gif) anyhow put in the gol that made us lose 5-0 (not that 4-0 wasn't bad already). I mean if any1 saw the game & is Ecua would of felt the same way i do. Even Caca couldn't believe it, it took him like 5 minutes before he can react & celebrate his own gol, he felt SORRY for us, it was really PATHETIC!!!!!

Again I don't mind them loosing, it comes with the territory, but at LEAST play hard, work hard, play as a team & if so they loose, let it be with a fight & lose with dignity, so that we can say: yeah they lost but it was hard for the other team to get the victory.

Anyhow I LUV them anyways & I hope that with this Horrible experience they get their act back together, get a new trainer, etc. watever it takes for them to get in shape.

Vamos Selection Ecuatoriana, we can do it!!! w00t.gifwinner.gif

BTW this game doesn't change my opinion of the first game against Venezuela. thought I would leave this clear. They played thumbsup.gif

lol @ caca  he is super cute and crazy talented.

I tried suggesting that perhaps they needed to look at the coach when they lost at home against Venezuela but apparently that meant I knew nothing about soccerblankstare

I preffer the atmosphere of watching the game in a crowd.  It gets more lively more intense - scoring a goal and having people cheer your team and chant their chants.  Pero cuando jugamos tan mal y nos dan tremenda goleada, da ganas de meterse en un hueco y no salir de pura verguenza.  Ayer habian dos parejas de Brasileńos en Motivos while the other 200 people were Ecuas.  Good thing we live in Canada and not en otros paises donde ellos hubiesen salido medio contramatados giggle.gif  On the not so bright side, sometimes some people get a lil too drunk and start talking sheit.  Like this dude yesterday - trying to sound funny, I suppose - with less than a minute to go: "Dale Ecuador que SI SE PUEDE - we ARE GOING TO WIN 6-5" weirdfacehmm

Actually my husband was at Motivos yesterday but I think he left halfway through the game.  Which brings me to another thread I have to make about what PERUANOS call cevichefurious  Anyway yeah crowds are nice too but if it's a super important game I don't like distraction.

I missed the first half AGAIN.  But it was only 1-0 when I showed up in the first intermission.  I only managed to see the second half and Ecuador looke HORRIBLE!!!  They sucked ass!!!  It was like a game of adults vs. kids.  Brasil was doing everything and Ecuador didn't have game.  Y ese goal (#3 or 4?) que el arquero Ecuatoriano le deja ir de las manos - WTF - Butterfingersh it!!!  We looked realllyyy bad.

To turn things around we need to play more offensive - sorta the way we played against Venezuela.  Again, even though we lost, we at least played a decent game where we attacked and had good goal oportunities.  Against Brasil, we looked like kaka.

I have to agree with u %100 this was probably the worst game i have ever seen Ecuador play......they had no game and it was so sad to see.
