I think the concept of union is a good one. Too bad most are corrupt as hell and abuse their power. I think large unions do more damage than good in the long run
I like Union Station. I can find yummy pastries there.
Again, I shouldn't have waited until 1:00 to have lunch.

Tv BUff don't anger your self, one day you will be on her shoes and make a much sick calls as she does. THen someone else will be stuck with your work.
*knocking on wood* I hope not. If I do, it will be because me or someone close to me is seriously ill And it's just that she makes it so obvious. I actually got the call yesterday, and she literally said, "I won't be coming in because I have a migraine". A migraine? You've got to be kidding me. If that were the case, every month I'd be off for three or four days
@ chile: don't get me started on the f ucking union... all they've done for me is take my dues.

I have called in sick my fair share of times - unlike Buffy's co-worker, I try not to get "sick" on a Monday or Friday, because it DOES get a little more suspicious! I LOVE UNIONS!

Hahahaha this is too funny.... I do know people like that it kills me... thank god I never get stuck with doing their job... It happens more in the accounting department for some reason.
Hey TVBuff why don't you talk to her next time and tell her you know she is a faker LOL....
So I have this co-worker who has been here longer than the Ojibwa have been in America, and she always calls in sick... for sure on a Monday or a Friday. I think out of 52 Mondays, she's been to work 5. And we get stuck doing her work. Because of the goddamn union (I"m soooo against unions now) she's protected, and she makes 3 times what we all make. She called in sick yesterday AND today, so I'm pissed and stuck doing her stuff.
Do you guys have co-workers like that? Are you a serial call-in-sicker? If you are, I hate you. Now I have to get back to work. I have plenty to do.
Disclaimer: Dear God, if she is really sick with some terminal illness, I ask for your forgiveness in advance for this rant.
