actually havent u guys ever noticed that when you apply for government stuff or even housing apt or whatever they always ask what school sector do you fund as in Public or PRivate (this being catholic) so thats how alot of our taxes get divided they track it via that way or if you opt for niether and have no kids they divide! as far as i know i fund the catholic board always have and always will simply because thats where i went to school at!!!
But really, they SHOULD just integrate the school system. To hell with the TCSB! Concentrate all resources in improving the public system. I should run for office, we'd have none of this nonsense if I were in power.

y not for other religions? ....CUZ THERES no moeny to support the 2 borads that exist....where do these faith based ppls expect this money? from some secret surplus? u know the gov is gonna make us pay MOre taxes from our paychques etc etc......im not hatin on the diff aiths, im just worried where is the money gonna come from if there is barely enough as it is.
Question: who are these faiths demanding these schools anyway? Actually, nevermind. I just checked Stats Can and, what do you know? This demand IS ludicrous! Roman Catholics make up for about 43-ish% of the population. The only other group to come close are the Protestants about 29-ish% but you have to divide that into the corresponding fractions. Muslims only make up 2% of the population and nevermind the numbers for the Eastern religions (pfffff!). (Hmmm, I would love to know the distribution of those numbers in the GTA.)
Even if they were to open a single denominational school in the GTA, with the distances in Canada, what would be the furthest distance one would be willing to bus or drive their child? I'm guessing not much So... yeah, it wouldn't be economically viable. Not enough money, sorry! Neeeeeeeeext!

ok srsly..................isnt this city complainin already abotu lack of funds in our schools? are there not strikes that happen almost every year due to lock outs? Jews already have thei C.H.A.T. schools, now all other faiths want funding from our goverment? How can ppl think of this as something positive? HOW CAN THEse people not see that this move is gonna cause racism to rise, hate crimes from idiots spray paintin etc etc....
