Estoy de acuerdo que si un latino vienen a toronto debe acomodarse a la cultura canadiense, hablar el ingles etc . Lo cual seria valido si es que este fuera el foro de canada , o toronto , pero tecnicamente este foro es un foro latino entonces es un poco diferente , los latinos canadienses aveces vienen aqui a practicar su espanol , o integrarse con latinos que hablen espanol , puesto que muchas cosas en espanol suenan diferente a ingles

Será porque los únicos que tienen tiempo de sobra para perder son los que se han criado aquí? Y los migrantes, quienes no llegan a dominar completamente el inglés, están por allá en friega tratando de ganarse el pan de cada día? Hay sus excepciones, claro, como el flojotas de God que no tiene otra cosa mejor qué hacer. Y claro, otras como yo, a quienes las mantiene el marido... pero en suspenso. jajaja.

Ay ta, ay ta... no necesito que otros me echen tierra, soy autosuficiente!

I think my spanish is pretty good for someone who was born and raised here in Toronto.  My parents always made us speak spanish at home and that is how I learned.

On the flip side I think it's silly that many latinos that have been here for years don't speak English.  If you are living in Canada you should speak English.

I hate it when this happens! I know many people who were not born in Canada, came to this country at approx. the age of 10 and all of a sudden they don't know how to speak Spanish!! C'mon!
