El Hornero is actually Argentino and it's no that cheap unless you order the wood oven pizzas

Hernandos Hideaway is totally Mexican so you would remember. Actually it tries to be but it's tex mexy....decent food though.

I am married so I like to go to Panorama so nobody will catch me.blankstare

JUST KIDDINGbiggrin

We like this cute little Mexican place near Yonge and Eg called Mariachis.smile

True it is Argentino... I used to love going there back 10 years or so ago 'cause there was one fine Argentina chiquita (worked there, and/or was related to the owners) that just made me so hungry, and I am not talking about food! biggrin
Taking in consideration of the location and remembering that a pasta dish was like $13 or steak about $16 or $17 (at that time, I guess - haven't been there in AGES!) it was NOT expensive.

Yeah the prices have gone up a bit. I don't condsider it expensive but it's not "cheap" either.

LOL the girl is the owners daughter. Never mind the pizza dude at the back was friggen hot toobiggrin

Yeap, yeap... HER!  I remember now - it was the daughter... her name is at the tip of my tongue too; but just not coming out... LOL.  I used to frequent it 'cause my office used to be in the area for a few years till we moved up north!

Back when I was younger and broke my favorite place for a date was the theatre on Yonge and Bloor. Can't remember the name, but it's accross from the bay/bloor subway station. It was big and empty which is great for an intimate setting.

Asides from that I like the CNE during the summer time or Il Fronello restaurant.

Wow, ur an Il Fornello fan too??????  LOL, which location?

I've been to the one at Yonge and Eglinton and Harbourfront. The Harbourfront one is nice cause of the patio thumbsup.gif

I went to the one in Richmond Hill, not sure what the crossroads were.  But the food was amazing.  smile
