I sing mariachi and am VERY proud of it. It's been our family business since my dad began it in '74 here in Toronto. It is one of the most beautiful genres out there....and youknow it. There is NOTHING as genuine as Mariachi.
Julio IS a legend but if it weren't for MEXICAN media AND Mexico itself, Julio would'nt have spread all over latin america like he did....that's a fact.
Plus Vicente Fernandez would sing his a s s to sleep even if he was singing with bronchitis.
JJ's songs are amazing and DO have meaning. But you can't campare vato....not a chance.

what makes JJ amazing? the letra......apples and oranges are still fruit, not much difference.
