USA: New York, New Jersey, Florida. Loved all of Florida - specially Clearwater where you can have lil fishies come swim at your feet and you can actually see them. ECUADOR - Lived there for many years; but still have a lot of it to Explore. Galapagos Islands a must before I die.

Have to admit, never been to any of those places, and quite honestly I dunno, there's this weird stigma with the place (Mexico), with people dying, getting hurt etc.... I usually travel alone, so I try to stay away from places where I would feel intimidated alone, or scared you know what I mean. But I have been to Cancun once.. it was nice there.. but definitely "Spring Break like"... I like Cuba cus no hay muchos americanos, pero mexico is a different story huh!
So Im sure we've all been to nice places over the years...

The best place that I have ever been to, is Camaguey Cuba (Playa Santa Lucia) This province in Cuba is one of the last provinces that is actually "Old Cuban Style" there is so much culture there its unbelieveable, it's not like Varadero where all the party animal white guys go to , it's a place that's still "bacck in the day" things are very old skool, and the people, they are wonderful.
I reccommend this place to any of you, Single, married, kids, whatever... you'll have a great time.... The beach is beautiful...although , it is a little grassy compared to other beaches you might've been to... but all in all its beautiful. It's got the second largest coral reef in the world - first is Austrailia, and it's so interesting to go on the catamaran, & snorkelling to see all the different types of coral, & fish. The area is known for bullsharks, but its unlikely that you'll see one. (Except @ La Boca, or Coco Beach)
The dancing in this province (as Im sure it is in most of cuba) is amazing. The afro cuban dancing and culture there is strong, and is so beautiful. I have never seen people move like they do - you'd think they're made of rubber.
There are nice disco's in Camaguey , and a ton of cabarets to go watch a show and dance....
Like I said , I love this place and definitley give it two thumbs up... last year I was there 6 times.....

Ive been to La Habana, and I dunno it's cool, nice architechture, but meh... i could leave the city and stay in the boonies of Camaguey instead where you get a taste of what it's like to be an actual cuban from back in the day.
Have you ever been to Trinidad? Es muy lindo ailli tambien, Santa Clara no tienne mucho ... lo mas importante, y interesante que tienne es el CHE (y las sierras tambien)
I also like Holguin ... it's just typical touristy place.
I haven't been to Buenos Aires in years, but I would imagine thats a great place too..... Anyone been there recently?
