That is how I see it...if the purpose of hunting is to eat it, why not but please do not hunt just for the fun of it. I don't see the "sport" in it. In other words, only take what you need.
Btw... dear is very tasty, never tried bear...that seems like a very strong meat.
Deer meat is very red and very hard with strong flavour.

I've never been hunting but I have to admit that the idea of tracking a dangerous animal does hold a certain appeal. Killing the defenceless animal for fun, on the other hand, is not very thrilling.
Now if only animals could learn how to use paintball guns...
I have hunted before for smaller birds: "tortolas", doves, pajaros. It was about the thrill of the hunt and competing with a friend to see who has better aim and gets more birds. I do however see how the birds are defenseless and harmless; but that's just the way things are. Whether or not it's ok is a matter of personal opinion and whether or not we hunt is a personal choice that we don't all agree. @Dogo: Yeap, thank God (RGNFG) moose and deer don't know how to shoot back!

Don't ask me. I don't get it. Like I know in Argentina they kill whatever animal and then they eat it. We don't eat friggin deer or bear? Don't ask me I don't know. It's an Argentino thang you wouldn't understand

THAT I will not do. I killed a dove about 25 years ago by mistake... still haunting me So not a "sport". May be when deer and moose also learn how to use a rifle, it might be

I think its wrong to hunt deers or bears .. but ducks are ok I guess
When I was in Argentina I think the crazy amounts of herbs got to my head and I agreed to go to "el campo" where they were hunting for big rabbit looking things. It was horrible I was on the big rabbit looking things side. They were sneaking up to the animal and I would shake a bush and make noise so the thing could escape. I guess that's why I was left out of the other hunting trips.
Bah I don't like hunting at all. Che LOVES it though
