So Princessa and I have been watching this series (not going to call it a soap opera becuase it really is not) and all i have to say is WOW......if u guys get a chances, watch it, it will open ur eyes to a whole new world..

Anyways, here is more about it.

The series is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Colombian author and screenwriter Gustavo Bolívar, which has printed four editions in just over a year.

The producer chose well in keeping the word "tetas" (tits) in the name of the soap opera; traditionally considered a vulgar term for breasts, through use it has become accepted by all audiences.

The drama portrays young, pretty and poor women who, seduced by the illusory world of easy-money, become prostitutes to be able to pay for the large breasts favoured by drug dealers.

Bolívar based his work on the realities he observed in a poor neighbourhood of Pereira, traditionally a coffee town and, as of a few years ago, the operations hub for a regional cocaine-trafficking cartel.

I seeing it, and is really amazing novela, is comical and dramatic at the same time., is about the chavas de colombia que estan obsesed with having implants to sleep with the druglords, kind of steretype, thats why has being banned in many countries, including some colombian channels...but overall, is like 18 hours long and comes in 6 dvd's , i sell the originals for $60 if anyone is nterested... smile

Has any1 seen it?, is some kind of soap opera.....my mother got a copy of the DVD sounds interesting and diff, I'm gonna watch it.

Sin Tetas No Hay Paraíso (Without Breasts There's No Paradise) is a famous Colombian television series, produced and broadcasted by Caracol TV. The show is based on the best-selling novel with the same name written by Gustavo Bolivar.
The story is based on a young girl, Catalina, who lives in Pereira and becomes obsessed with getting breast implants in order to overcome poverty. Catalina decides to become a "prepago" (prepaid), a prostitute who has sex with drug traffickers in exchange for gifts, money and social status.
The prime time show reached ratings nearing 6.9 million viewers, setting a record for the most-watched soap opera in Colombia. The series-finale was aired on October 13, 2006, and caught a big audience.
