WOW Lorena are u legal here, meaning do u have all ur papers in place with immigartion?
because if u do, u have a lot of places that can help u with this problem, I think even if u don't have ur papers some1 can help u.
There is a place that protects works such as urself not sure what the name is but some here will know for sure..........don't let ur boss get away with it fight it and I hope u get well soon.
Hola chicos: tengo una situacion muy dificil ahora y sobre todo no estoy informada al respecto, la semana pasada el dia martes, cuando me encontraba trabajando en mi centro laboral (DayCare), a las 9.15 am, me desgarre los ligamentos internos de la rodilla y tambien los mesquinos o algo asi, y bueno con tanto dolor me desmaye, se me bajo la presion, mis labios se pusieron morados y hasta vomite; cuando mi jefa me vio asi me dijo toma una silla y relajate, pero olvidate q te puedes ir a tu casa pq hoy no tengo quien te suplante. Asi me pase todo el dia con dolor sin poder caminar y con nauseas. En la noche despue d encontrar a una babysitter q se quede con mis hijas, llegue a las 9.30 pm a emergencias. Los medicos me preguntaron q sucedio y me dijero q mi jefa me debio llevar a emergencias inmediatamente. Bueno mi jefa se fue de viaje el lunes y el martes q acaba d pasar tuve mi cita con el medico, este me dijo q tengo q estar por lo menos por un mes mas usando muletas y con un sujetador d rodilla q me cubre toda la pierna hasta q me vuelva a ver en cuatro semanas. Yo asustada le dije q tenia q ir a trabajar y me dijo q mi jefa tenia q darme mi compensacion. El mismo martes hable con la Secretaria y me dijo q ella solo podia darme esta semana mi cheke q mis vacaciones y q recien iba a mandar para q yo reciba mi worker insurance o algo asi pero por enfermedad, entonces yo le dije esto es un accidente d trabajo no es una enfermedad. Ahora una amiga me dijo q estos claims pueden tomar como 1 mes...es cierto? entonces q? tengo q estar un mes sin recibir mi sueldo?. La secretaria tambien me dijo q ella no podia hacer nada mas pq mi jefa no estaba presente y no la puede llamar pq cuando esta de vacaiones nunca la llama. Q ella no le dejo dicho nada sobre q pasaria en esta situacion. POR FAVOR DENME ALGUNOS CONSEJOS O DATOS Q UDS SEPAN SOBRE Q DEBO HACER.
