Guys, my boyfriend and I just saw this movie and it was great. I mean, there wasn't alot of action because of the political circumstances that surround this film, but boy, was it ever riveting.

We were on the edge of our seats.

It was filmed almost as a documentary, with lots of viewpoints from a beautifully natural (no makeup wearing) Angelina Jolie, who portrays Daniel's wife, Mariane. But also, great performances from the other actors as well. It's really quite sad what happened to Daniel Pearl, but its also interesting because it somehow describes the "motive" and the apparent reasoning as to why he was kidnapped....

I loved it because it showed alot of simple raw emotion. I think Angelina Jolie, Archie Panjabi (who plays their journalist friend Asra) and Irfan Khan (Pakistani Captain) were amazing. I cried when they showed Angelina's reaction to the news.

This is a great film, you guys should see it.

I fell in love with the song at the end too, lol. Its a song they played by Nouvelle Vague, called "In a manner of Speaking". Beautiful song, and so true. Raw emotion....
