I've been to several...and the only one that entertained me enough was the Millionaire Mind seminar weekend...... I learned a lot of useful tips....
Consciencely...we all know what to do....we need help on the HOW and the motivation.....but these are just boosters (in my opinion).....great for encouragement (motivation) but not permanent.....meaning they start you off and they don't finish it....(unless they move in with you).....
And if they are able to sell you their product.....THEY WIN...YOU LOSE.....
I know, and that's what's discouraging. What they have is a product, but the product can only be sold to those who can afford it, who are successful enough already to be able to afford it. Vicious cycle. Not only that. Personally, I don't think that everybody wants to be rich and successful. Some people are just happy and content making enough money to live comfortably (I'm kind of on this side). But there are so many people who don't even get to this level of wanting. They just live day by day, and they may have incredible talent and skills.
I've seen/heard a few & yes I do enjoy them as long as the speaker is good & has a touch to his voice & speech to keep me intrested. I think the best one so far for me has been "Liz Murray", She's absolutly incredible & if I had any decision making in any school board I would make it mandatory that she speaks to all the schools.

So I just came back from a conference on women & business (those of you whose e-mail I have will get further info from this ), but anywhore, there was this guy, a Colombian, who came from the states and is the president of a company that does this. Now, I've never been to anything like this, except for the time my roommate took me to see some preacher and I ended up bawling all night and nearly changing religions. I get caught in the moment, is what I'm saying. But this guy was pretty good. I'm one of those people who haaaaaaaates classroom settings and meetings, 'cause they're usually boring and I can't sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time. But this guy had the gift of gab. He's one of those people who gets your attention and makes a lot of sense. He's studied with the big ones (I don't really know their names except for Tony Robbins) but he said things that may be cliche, but ring true: things like You need to invest in yourself to reach success. I'll add the things he said next time (I wrote a few). Has any of you ever seen one of these people? Would you? I'm still a little skeptical, but they do get at you. What do you guys think?
