 I feel that your post merits a serious response because I do see the validity in your comments.

I agree that when it comes to supporting 'friends', people are a lot more willing to hype them up because of the friendship factror, regardless of how talented or untalented they are. 

This is what I say, if youre a true SLUT then you'll support a whole slew if not all other artist within our community, not a selected few. 

I myself, have never considered myself a supporter of all things latin and Canadian... far from it.  I support those that I feel merit support and recognition, not because I know them personally.  Some that I do support I know, but the ones that I dont know or havent heard about, I dont even bother commenting on.

As for your boy Jr. Mauro, I've never heard of him... HOWEVER, I have heard great reviews about this young dude.  My above post was in no way discrediting towards him or his music... it was a simple comparrision about a certain 'hyping method' and plain ol socks.  Nothing wrong with that.  If someone was offended by a comment that was made in jest, then two words apply ... CHILLAX YOSELF. 

Another thing, TH is a place where comments are made, people are ridiculed and jokes are thrown at whomever they land on.  Noone takes anything seriously here.  Take any thread about something serious like the killing of a little girl by her friends, and then it ends up being a thread about god's small penis.  Go figure. 

If you really want to advertise your goods here, do it.... but do so in a way that does not make it seem as thoough all we'll be getting is plain ol' socks at the end.  Dont post a thread and then have one of your peeps just come here and hype it up with 'yo yo yo, its gonna be the hypest party EVER IN LIFE' or the ever popular 'yo yo its gonna be RAMMED PACKED' or even the 'Yo come out and support the greatest night ever'.  Come on now, we're not 5 here.  We are not easily persuaded because some promoter/dj/clingon of the dj comes on here and tells us its the hottest party ever in the T.Dot.  Give us a bit more credit.

Taco you know that I've personally supported a lot of your events, and I've always come back with positive reviews about them.  With this, I want you to see that its not a personal 'attack' or critisim about you or your events, I'm just giving you some honest insight into what it looks like from an outsiders perspective.

Anywh0re, its awesome to see new and raw energy enter into the industry, because with the thats the next generation of musical talent.
