I went to McDonalds yesterday and brought with me the "nutritional" guide, and this is what I found out (no secret, I know, but whatever)
Assuming you have a BigMac combo... supersize it, and get a dessert (either an apple pie, or a chocolate sundae) you would have consumed, in a SINGLE meal, Approx 70 grams -assuming you dont order a milkshake- of fat (approx, 105% of the recommended DAILY intake) And over 2100 calories. Roughly, the recommended DAILY intake (again, without a milkshake)
So I went around the house comparing fat content on other products around the house, and this is what I would have to eat to reach, more or less, the same levels of fat in ONE sitting, to achieve the same numbers than those from McDonalds
To ingest the same amount of fat, as a BigMac Combo, I could eat a supersized BigMac combo with dessert, or:
about an 1" to 1.25" chunk off a pound bar, of pure lard (Crisco), or
Over A POUND of cheese (partly skimmed, 15%M.F.). Or...
4 1/2 cans (regular size, 347grams, ea, or roughly 3 ½ pounds) of wet DOG food. Or...
12 cans of tuna, in oil (I cant imagine how many you would have to eat of the ones that come in water). Or...
22 (almost 3 boxes) of Nutrigrain bars. Or...
24 (over 1 ½ boxes.. There are 15 to a box) Viva Puffs. Or...
85 woven wheat crackers. Or...
90 slices of "smart" bread (or roughly 5 loafs). Or...
