Volunteers Needed - Let them be kids

Attention all community conscience peeps that want to help make a difference in our community, St. Charles Garnier Catholic School/Jane and Finch Community needs your help!

Let them be kids is a charitable, world wide program bringing hope and play across the globe. It acts as a vehicle to build community capacity while building playgrounds in areas of need.Let them be kids is on a mission to build a playground, as there is none currently available, and also to improve the quality of life for families in the surrounding area.

This is an all day event (or whatever time you are able to volunteer) where you can help in any one of these areas:

  • Build playgrounds
  • Painting the school class rooms and portables
  • Help with kids activities
  • Sorting/organizing the over 7000 donated books
  • Installing the 40 donated computers
  • Beautifying the school garden and grounds

We will be going under the LatinUrban.ca banner to show our support to our fellow Latinos and the youth of the community. Come out and help out our communities. Refreshments and lunch will be served.
