MJ, you haven't spoken to him in, what, 10 years? that doesn't make him your friend, sweetie, that makes him your acquaintance. Someone you knew YEARS ago (yes slept with) but you've both grown up and are different ppl now.

He was looking outside the marriage to fix his problems by simply TELLING you his problems and then asking you for advice about what to do. He also threw the "WHAT IF WE GOT BACK 2GETHER" into the cosmos and that in itself, is him looking outside of his relationship for a "fixing". You didn't give him "luvin'" as you say, but you gave him false hope and you didn't even realize it.

It's best you just remove yourself from this equation all together before it starts seeping into your relationship with El Pibe. El has been very supportive of you up to this point but there MAY come a time when he MAY say WTF already.... I don't know El Pibe so I can't say he WILL but it MAY happen and you need to be aware of that.

The only way to fix this now is to do what Yesi said. Block them all from your Facebook, MSN, phone or whatever and move on. Let them deal with their drama and you move on with your life.

I just don't understand how a simple "Hi, how are ya?" turned out to be all my fault.  I was just saying hello to an old friend.

Personally, I would never react the way his wife has reacted if El Pibe found an old girlfriend from a bazillion years ago.  I'm confident in my relationship to trust him.

I THINK her guilty conscience is creepin' up on her and is pointing fingers at both he and I.  I think what she really wants is to say, "Well, I cheated on you 2 years ago, now you've cheated on me, so now we're even."

@Luna:  I don't think I gave him false hope.  From day one, I've always mentioned my status with El Pibe.  I never insinuated that we had a chance at all.  He knows what we had is in the past and he knows that's where I see it.

@GL:  Release your tongue damn it.    Trust me, I KNOW what I did was wrong but I was pissed and I fully admit that it was stupid and immature.

@Chale:  To the best of my knowledge, El Pibe is fine.  He was there everytime I talked to Mr. Depp so he always knew what I was saying and he could clearly see what Mr. Depp was saying.  I know that if I had said something "funny", El Pibe would have been brutally honest with me.  If anything, he feels bad that it's looking like I'm the home wrecker/mistress because he knows the truth.

Anywhore, what i gather from the skimming that I did.. is the following:

1. Facebook is the DEVIL
2. Thats why you leave things that are in the past, in the past
3. I dont know how it is that trouble always seems to find you MJ... its like youre a magnet for it.  Destress your life by not even getting involved in this... its really not worth it.
4. How does El Pibe really feel about this?  Like how does he REALLY feel?  (I know that this wouldve caused major drama and tension had this been Mr. Tanga)

I'm sure he doesn't like it thats y he told her to remove her self from it before......
If it was Princessa in this we be having problems long time ago, I would have never let it get this bad/far.

@X:  I hear ya.

Yeah, maybe you are naive and that's probably why Pibe didn't let you know of all the red flags ("contact me when my wife's not here, let's pick up where we left off," etc). Instead of telling you of all his problems and whatever, he should've been talking to the wife about it. Like Dr. Phil says, if you have nothing to hide, then you hide nothing. You should be transparent, and he wasn't. That's why the wife freaked out. Regardless of whether she cheated or not, that's something for them to deal with and solve. Obviously the past is not in the past and there's some unfinished business here, and the wife sees it that way too. Whether that's not the case for you, she doesn't know. Sometimes is better to leave friendships and the like in the past. Remember them for what they were and move on. Now if you're going to visit the sister and mother and keep in touch with them, just don't mention anything about the couple because, like I said, it's not your place to get involved.

You should definitely (and you can't really) be friends with someone with whom you ended on such terms but... to eaches own. Fast forward to 2007!!! Who do I find on Facebook???  Yes yes yes, my first love himself, Mr. Johnny Depp!!! Feel free to search!!!  lol Much to my delight, I noticed he was still married to the same girl and had not one, but two beautiful girls.  I sent him a message, "Hey how are you stranger?  Good to see you're still happily married and with two beautiful little girls!  Congrats!!!  Take care!" which SOMEHOW began WWIII.  Looking for trouble much? I'll post an article I read in the paper yesterday regarding Facebook... very interesting. It's at home though and I'm at school. The wifey IMMEDIATELY spotted that and called him at work screaming that I had tried to add him as a friend and that he will not and shall not respond.  He responded anyway, like so, "Hey, theres a face I havent seen in awhile.  Do you have an e-mail address so that we can talk on MSN?  By the way, don't respond to this just wait until Wednesday night and Thursday night when my wife is at work. " At this point, Im just thinking in my head, WTF?  I just said HI!  So whatever, we began talking and he kept rambling on and on about how he often wondered what would have happened with us if he had not gotten married.  He told me how his wife cheated on him in '05 and how we was looking for me, that they had gotten back together after LOTS of begging on her part and for the sake of the children.  However, since then, he hasnt been able to trust her, understandably so.  He asked me, "If we separated and I told you I wanted to continue from where we left off, what would you say?"  I snapped him back to reality and said, "Uhhhh hello??!!!  I have El Pibe!!!"  He then said, "I know that silly, I meant if you werent in a relationship?"  Anyway, we talked via webcam and I often had El Pibe sitting right beside me and El Pibe was cool with who I was talking with.  We were enjoying our newfound friendship! And here you should have said your goodbyes. I don't need to read the rest now. Play with fire, you're gonna get burned. It might have actually been a good idea to stop all contact after he said "wait till my wife is gone to reply (or something along those lines) but I probably would have continued the contact out of sheer curiosity... nothing wrong with some good ol' curiosity but yeah.... then you wonder how you started WWIII. Again, don't snap, just giving you my point of view... *heading for cover*So last week, I went onto my very good friends profile, and noticed Johnny Depp's wife on his profile.  I immediately asked, "Hey, how do you know Medusa?" to which he replied, I went to high school with her and she f@cked Fat Albert! (I happen to know Fat Albert as he wanted my arse!!  Lol)  My spidey senses started tingling so I asked, "Before or AFTER she was married?" and he said, "BOTH!!!!!"  At the same time, wifey noticed on his profile that I was there and immediately started questioning him.  Doing her job to make me look like a home wrecker/mistress, she said that Johnny Depp and I were together when they had first gotten married.  Ugh!  Fortunately, my friend knows me well enough to know the truth.  ANYWAY, Johnny Depp and I decided to finally meet up after so long!  We met up this past Saturday and pretty much reminisced about everything and anything.  It was nice, fun, and great to catch up on all these years that have passed. YESTERDAY, I get a text message from him saying, "Medusa found your e-mail address and your number."  I replied, "You're screwed!  Screw this.  This is looking to be an affair.  I dont want to deal with this anymore." And he said, "Thats fine!  I understand."  So I went on my Facebook and you know where it says MJ is home or MJ is tired or whatever?  Well, I put, MJ is wondering why some women are such b*tche$?  GET OVER IT!!! and went away to do my thing.  When I came home later that evening, I had realized that I was going to be in the old area and that I should ask a friend (who happens to be Johnny Depp's sister) if she wanted to meet up.  What do I see on her profile??  Medusa posting, "WHY ARE WOMEN SUCH B*TCHE$???  Hahahahaha!!!!" GIRL!!!!  I cant tell you how PISSED I was when I saw that.  To know that she was snooping on MY profile????  One word:  WHACK!!!!!  So being the natural bee-otch that I am, I changed the status and put, MJ is asking, "Have you seen a white Saturn lately? cause I have!!! ;)"   Thus describing Johnny Depp's vehicle and letting her know that we've seen each other. Immature?  Perhaps.  Vengeful?  Yup!  Do I care?  Nope. So THEN Johnny Depp's sister responds on Medusa's profile, "That was so random!  What was that all about?" obviously unaware of the situation. So I took it upon myself to write to the sister and explain my side of the story.  I'm not expecting her to pick sides but I wanted to let her know the deal.  At one point I said, "I don't respect a woman who cheats on her husband who happens to be a very special friend to me." And blah blah blah. This was all last night. TODAY, I get a text message from Johnny Depp himself saying, "Sorry to bother you but what did you tell my sister? "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE So something tells me that I exposed something that SHOULDNT have been exposed. Anyway, thats the story SO FAR!!!! I am seriously hating Facebook right now.Help me.-- Edited by Motown Junkie at 10:42, 2007-04-04

There aren't any problems with my relationship.  Are you referring to Medusa and Johnny Depp's relationship?

You know X.......I figured AFTER 10 years she would've gotten over it and been civilized about it all.  I also figured that she would see that I'm with El Pibe which is clearly stated on my profile.  I had NO idea it would get to this point.  Trust me, if I had known, I would have NEVER even said hello.

Okay, so 80% of your e-mail to your GF is what we already know 'cause it's in this thread. So just give us the gist of the new development. We don't have all day, chu no? We're working here.

Sheesh! I thought gossiping was simple.

I'm not lazy... I just wanna know what the hell it is I'm gonna read.

ETA: Fine, I'll read it regardless of not knowing (or caring) WTF is going on. I just wanna know why Luna is disapproving.

So here's the e-mail I sent to my girlfriend yesterday about this whole crazy mess I got myself into!!!  Names have been changed to protect identities (and fulfill fantasies).

Hey girl!!!  Ready for this one?

Ok, ready?
And go. Girl, grab a drink before you read all this!!!  LOL Ok, now I'm ready.

When I was 16, I met my first love.  Yes, he was my first, we were madly in love and we were hunky dory!!!  In March or May of 98, I broke up with him because.... well, who wants to be in a serious relationship at that age??!!  So he started dating someone right after that which I knew was a rebound but I didnt care.  We remained friends until I met his girlfriend, pleasantly said, "Nice to meet you!" and after that, she banned him from talking to me.  He's always been INCREDIBLY loyal (that he wont even stick up for himself) so that was the end of our friendship.  A year later they got married (she was prego).  The first three months of his marriage, we still kept seeing each other but in the end, I snapped out of it and said, "You blew it!  We would've been together had you given me time but you ran off and got married because you knocked someone up.  I cant be with a married man and a FATHER!"  So that was that.

So last week, I went onto my very good friends profile, and noticed Johnny Depp's wife on his profile.

Hahahahaha!!!!"

GIRL!!!!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So something tells me that I exposed something that SHOULDNT have been exposed. Anyway, thats the story SO FAR!!!!

I am seriously hating Facebook right now.

Help me.

And did you really tell him you "couldn't" keep in touch anymore? How old are you? 9? I hope you worded it differently.

If you want my opinion (good) and if you don't want it (tough). Your duty as a friend should have been to just lend an ear to your buddy, not to try and "save him". This was a pretty delicate matter. Nobody stays in a situation they don't want to stay in. He had it coming with you in the picture or not. I think it's pretty clear who wears the pants in that family.

reason to let it go and move on, and she was being an ear for him and she was not trying to save him but just give her opinion, nothing wrong with what she did.

a)  Don't call me sistah cause I ain't your "sistah" nor am I your sister.
b)  What difference does it make, HOW I WORDED my conversation?  Who cares if I said, "F@ck off!" or "I don't think it's right that we continue talking out of respect for your marriage."  Eitherway, it's none of your business.
c)  Who says I was trying to "save him"???  I was doing exactly what you said and just lending an ear!
d)  And yes, I knew he had it coming.  My only concern was that I did not want to be a "pawn" in some stupid little game.

Ok, no more saying "bro"

@X -  thank you for clearing that up.

@MJ - good decision.  I know losing your friendship sucks, but think of it this way, that you could potentially be saving a marriage.
