Seriously, though. Think of the precedent you would've set: a latina and a female cop... you don't see many of those around. I don't think I've ever seen any. You would've been an example to all those little girls who think they can't.I'm just saying... ARE YOU MOCKING ME????

Yeah, but think about the blood and the guts and the serial killers and the gore and all those wonderful things you'll miss by not being a homicide detective!
Actually, I can't picture a sweet, innocent, dog-loving, caring, generous, soft-spoken, tiny girl like you being a cop.
On second thought... I can.

Cops don't do so bad either. I think the police force is one of the best employers, all joking aside. Nobody took me seriously when I had to do 150 hours of law enforcement related work to graduate. They used to call me se-cutie guard or se-cutie princess. -- Edited by Motown Junkie at 15:40, 2007-03-27What do you care? You should've spent your 150 hours at Timmys and gotten the requirement over with. Why don't you go back? I'm telling you, the police force is where the money's at.

OMG!! I would kill him!! How could he have gotten the heart to do that!! I would have chopped his penis off by now!!! That's soooooo wrong!! I feel so bad for that child. She now will never have a relationship with her father who molested her, she may never have children and will be tramatized for life.
Some lawyers have no heart! I would have NOT defended him. I remember we had someone come into the office because he needed a lawyer for his Immigration matters. His case -> he was fleeing India because he was caught with kids under 10 yrs in a hotel room. He had sex with these underage boys and was convicted of his crime. Anyhoo, the lawyer did NOT take his case because he just did NOT want to help a child molester!

Under these circumstances the death penalty is definitely rooted for.

A Toronto man convicted of sexually assaulting his 5-year-old daughter and infecting her with gonorrhea has been sentenced to three years in prison.
The 47-year-old man cannot be named to protect the identity of the girl.
The prosecutor had sought up to 10 years in prison, while the man's defence lawyer asked for a two-year conditional sentence.
The former labourer was convicted last October of sexual assault causing bodily harm and sexual interference for "despicable conduct" that may render his daughter infertile.
He was charged in 2002 after tests showed his daughter had the same strain of gonorrhea as him.
The man, who is HIV-positive and uses a motorized wheelchair, has been out on bail since 2001 after spending 72 days in custody.
