On a similar note (not "not" as Angelita likes to call it)....Does it strike you as just as rude to not hear people say “you’re welcome” when you say thank you, as it does “thank you” itself?
I got this thing, and you’re going to laugh, but, for example, if I go to Tim Horton’s drive through, I order, and always say thanks after they say “drive up”, and I stay for just a split second waiting for “you’re welcome” It rarely happens, and when it doesn’t, for a second, I think to myself “you rude, son of a b*tch!”

Oh, another weird pet peeve is people that don’t pay you or give you money or your change IN your hand.... like at convenience stores, for example, they’ll just throw it on the counter.... like WTF?! not sure why but that comes across as very rude, and it bugs the friggin hell out of me
