Nobody is coming close to taking their lifes....err lives. I don't think freedom means living on the streets and begging for money. It would be like a detention centre to teach them labour skills. It may seem like a waste of tax money, but we already waste tax money on other bull***t. I don't think that motivating someone to work means taking away their freedom

I agree, they do need the proper help. I was reading an article a while back from a guy who used to be homeless himself, and he thinks it's a good idea. A lot of them suffer from mental health problems, so it's not really safe letting them roam around in public hasseling people for money.

In my opinion I think it's a good idea. But I wouldn't lock them up with criminals. They should have something like a detention centre just for them, and release them when they are ready/willing to work.
