Thanks for the ideas so far

things he likes

airplanes
tools
electronics

things he doesnt have much interest in

cars ( he thinks a van is the best car !)
sports ( only soccer a little bit because of me)
nothing too crazy ( he went to wonderland and only got in one ride, also he has heart problems)

I like the idea of spending a day with him , but we are going to have a family thing going on , and i don wanna be the only one with no gift !

hope the above information helps !! come on people more ideas

There you go Airplanes see how much it cost to go on one airplane ride or helicoptor over Toronto ( i hear thats cool right mco)

if not see what tools he doesnt have or if he needs a tool box you can get him a cool one and still have money to spend for dad and son day kinda like ok heres the physical gift and the other you can plan it a day later or the following weekend.

Are you the only son? For a gift, give him a certificate entitling you to "steal him" for one day, and then you plan a day doing boy things that you both like. I don't know, take him to a game or shooting pool or going to a bar, fishing. I don't know. Think of something boyish.

Any ideas are welcome !!!

Why don't you spend that money to do something WITH him, just the two of you? I always thought that a father/son day of "only the two of you" would be great for the memory bank. I don't know, just a thought.

Might help if you post what he's into. Cars, sports, cooking, hobbies, lapdances?
But don't expect much input from me. I suck at buying presents also!!
