Groomer Accused Of Super Gluing Dog's Cut Off Ear

There are mistakes people try to cover up at work and then there are things that appear to cross the line. This story is about the latter.

A pet owner in Seattle claims a groomer accidentally cut off her dog's ear then tried to superglue it back on so no one would notice.

Anni Sheriffius made the bizarre discovery when she took Jasmine home and thought she spotted what looked like dirt on her shi tzu's ear.

She was stunned when the appendage suddenly came off as she tried to clean it. She quickly put the ear in a plastic bag (top left) and rushed it off to the vet, where she learned what happened.

"I saw the ear float away, and it freaked me out," she recalls.

Her dog has since been treated for an infection stemming from the incident, and police are looking into potential charges against the groomer. While the dog had a license, the trimmer didn't.

"Once they tried to hide it and glued the ear back on, that's not good for the dog," explains Det. Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. "There are all kinds of things that can happen, infection. It's cruelty to animals."

The store where the alleged incident is believed to have taken place has since shut down.

Sheriffius claims she's been crying ever since the discovery and doesn't know how anyone could have done such a thing to a cute little dog. And she wants justice.

"I'd like her never, ever to touch another dog," she proclaims. "That's what I'd like to see."

This happened in Georgia. The mongrels who did this got 10 years in prison (no probation chance), and 10 years probation after. These two bastards put a dog in an oven and watched it die. How? Someone please explain to me how anybody can do that?! Ten years mi culo! Bah, there is no such thing as "justice".

In Atlanta alone, 17,000 people signed a petition to have these teens get jail time. Do you think people sometimes show more sympathy for animals than for their fellow human beings?

Rhetorical question, people. I will always have more sympathy for animals than for other people. People suck! However, I'm just saying... this shouldn't be.

Throughout the trial the teenaged pricks laughed and showed no remorse. And the a-hole defense attorney had the nerve to say the sentence didn't fit the crime. Pffffffffffffffffff. Actually, he was right, if I were the one handing out the sentence, I'd have them go through the exact same thing, only 50 times more until they laughed at their own miserable arses.
