So who exactly invented or established all these rules and regulations....about how a wedding should run?  I'm just curious.....

For example:

- typical hall rental with food
- dj rental, lights
- head table set up
- ring boy, flower girl
- bouquet toss
- white dress
- etc etc etc

(I can't think of more conventional things to list)

I mean what would happen if a wedding didn't run on such a disciplined schedule and tight budgeting?

Organizing a wedding is worse than organizing a concert.....

WHO INVENTED ALL THESE RULES AND WAYS OF DOING THINGS??

OR WAS IT JUST A "FOLLOW THE LEADER" KINDA THING?

i think is more of a follow te leader kinda of thing.....
thats y weddings are just over rated to me.

I can’t answer who invented these rules. But regardless of who did, we don’t have to follow through – but it has become more or less what one expects to see at a wedding. Weddings sounds so stressful for the brides and grooms that sometimes it just doesn’t seem worth the stress and would be so much easier to just have a simple ceremony and skip straight to the FUN of the honeymoon!

And I agre with you, the "etc, eyc, etc..." is the most conventional thing invented for this special occasion
