i think the only kids that should be at a wedding are the kids that actually have a duty in the bridle party, that's it.

I GUESS FOR ME IT DEPENDS, IF ITS AT A FANCY HALL then i would contemplate it but i would most likey invite kids and just tell the parents to keep them seat for all the important parts and to respect the day of the bride and groom! and if they cant then i would deal with it myself!

But i noticed now a days most ppl dont bring the kids unless thye dont have a sitter to take them too.

now my wedding sure ill have kids after all its gonna be an outdoor bbq! or on a Resort somewhere tropical so if you can afford it by all means ur welcomed to come!

A wedding is NOT a place for a kid. Personally, I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER bring a kid to a wedding, 'cause they-- the kids-- are soooooo unpredictable and weddings are just boring for them. I think all parents should know that. There should seriously be a protocol on where to bring your kids. You're actually doing both the wedding party AAAND the kids a favour by not bringing them.
But anyway, I've been to a few weddings and most people have gotten this. I think because in Latin America it is a free-for-all, most immigrant parents will automatically assume that you're supposed to bring them. But here, because of the expense, it is different, so you HAVE TO let people know. The more weddings one attends, the more you realize that kids + wedding =

Nothing against the kids.

I would say yes if they are direct family to either the bride or groom no matter how bratty they are.
No if they are just kids/offspring of the friends you both invite.

YAY OR NAY?????????  Well, under the age of 12, I'll say.

I am LOVING this topic!!!

I love kids, don't get me wrong, but at a wedding???!!!!

I remember watching the bride and groom have their first dance together and the music was nice and the smoke machine was going and out of the fog comes this wretched child running and frolicking all over the place!!!!  He kept running around and jumping in front of the camera!!  On top of that, he would lift the bride's dress!!!!

All this time, EL PIBE and I are asking, "Where are this kid's parents???"  I was so tempted to drop kick him but hey, it wasn't my wedding!!!

Then during dinner, they set up a little net on the dancefloor so the kids could play SOCCER!!!!!    Yeah, guess how many times that ball DIDN'T end up in the net!!!

Hmmm, are parents more lenient now a days?  I know if I was that age and causing a scene like that.................LORD JEBUS SAVE ME!!!!!!!
