Hmmmm............come to think of it, I remember my dad was like that but I always attributed that to arthritis.  Things that make you go "hmm".

Fractured forearm and dislocated elbow = 2 operations...1 metal plate and 6 screws....oh ya and the ligaments they took from the upper part of my bicep to re-tie the elbow together.

Ay que dolor!

I always hear that people with metal plates feel a bit of pain or discomfort when it's cold outside. Is this true?

I can't vouch for Mega but my dad was ok.

I used to love putting a heating pad on his back just to feel how hot the metal would get!!!    I begged him to let me fry eggs on his back but he said no!!!

My daddy had that.

They put a steel rod in his back.

My daddy enjoy the security screening at the airport though; always so mischievous.

Well, lets see:

I hit my head on the corner of a wall and had to get stiches. But i wasn't crying, oh no, in fact i was amazed on how the person beside my bed had cut their finger off and it looked just like a sliced strawberry. But the doctor wouldn't let me look and kept turning my head to stitch me up!!!!

Another time i was playing with my brothers and i accidentaly placed my fingers in the back of the door (around the frame) and my bro closes the door only to squish both my fingers like pancakes.

Another time at the beach i fell back off the bench and landed on the freshly (and hot) removed grill...i still have slight scars on my back.

Another time i had my parrot on my finger, and i decided it would be fun to put it close to my brother's face , the parrot bit a chunck off his nose. When my grandma found out, she came to slap me on the hand, not realizing that i had an exacto knife and as she hit my hand, so the knife also made two gashes on my fingers, it bled prufusely. What did she do right after? she poured alcohol over them. oh yeah. That was tough love.  Oh, and after that i couldn't stop smelling my fingers, the mixture of blood and alcohol is the worst scent ever!

I think that's all.

this is more of a near death experience...

@Dogo - My therapist says that after a few sessions I should be fine.

WAS IT LA UNION???

I have no idea is it was La Onion. There were too many of the groups members yelling on the mic at the same time. Most of the performance wasn't too audible.

I don't know if it was the flu itself or the fact that I was in bed for a week without really getting up much, but when I did start to move every bone and muscle in my body was killing me. Every step I took or cough I had would hurt my back and legs.

Asides from that I have been luck so far with no broken bones or stiches.

The single most physically painful experience that I have ever gone through in all of my life, was when I was 8 and my mom cut my bangs half way up my forehead and all crooked like..... AND i had picture day that same week. I cried and cried and cried and cried for days. It was the most painful thing in my life. Ever. Twas a sad sad day

OMG, only you.  LOL.   Man, so I wonder how you got every time your moms brought u Bi-Way clothing.

OH man!!! The Bi Way memories I have
There was one at Jane and Finch mall and it would always look like a top secret mission for me to go in there. They had the best prices on batteries back in the day and I remember going in with a hooded jacket and only entering and exiting the store when the coast seemed clear
Shopping there as a kid would have been social suicide if it was discovered

I guess we all had the same "special priviledges" at Bi-Way???

For me it was two years ago when I got a bad flu
It's the sickest I have ever been.
